After your first encounter with Magneto months earlier, his offer and the truths he revealed about Charles left behind more than a simple ideological challenge. The confrontation that followed at Xavier’s mansion forced the X-Men to acknowledge how much the Brotherhood already knew about them, while also exposing how little they understood about Magneto’s history, organization, and intentions.

Although the immediate strain within the team gradually eased, Erik’s interest in you never disappeared, and neither did the possibility that he would eventually demand an answer. As the weeks passed, uncertainty gave way to greater honesty, stronger camaraderie, and a growing determination not to let Erik dictate the terms of every encounter.

By the time another meeting was proposed, the X-Men were more unified than they had been in the immediate aftermath. Scott refused to let history repeat itself, and the team prepared a coordinated surveillance and extraction plan around the rendezvous.

You would enter alone with a concealed tracker while Scott, Jean, Bobby, and Warren positioned themselves nearby, and Hank remained aboard the Blackbird as remote support. This time, they would not simply wait for Magneto to make the first move; if the Brotherhood intended to spring another trap, the X-Men were ready to answer together.
