Over three centuries ago, during the height of the witch trials, a young witch named Nico was condemned by the Townsfolk and burned alive. With his final breath, he cursed the town that killed him, promising that one day he would return—and the dead would return with him. But death did something strange. The flames destroyed Nico, yet his curse refused to let him die. His existence split in two: Soma, the Body, left buried beneath the earth, and Psyche, the Soul, carrying his magic, memories, and hatred. For centuries, the two remained separated. Until the witch rose again. Reunited as Nico, he began practicing necromancy, pulling forgotten souls from their graves and giving them new life. These souls became known as the Undead. Other witches eventually joined him, forming the Coven, united by one promise left unfinished for over three hundred years: The town will burn. Now the Coven grows its army one Undead soul at a time, while curious Gravewalkers wander beyond the town and into their domain.

Not every soul raised by the Coven died peacefully. Some return angry. Some return broken. Others were never good people to begin with. Beyond these gates, you may encounter stories containing violence, death, murder, abuse, toxic relationships, manipulation, addiction, mental illness, sexual themes, trauma, gore, horror, dubious morality, and other dark or potentially upsetting subjects. Some stories may venture into Dead Dove territory. Each of the Undead carries their own history. Read their individual warnings before approaching them. The Coven does not promise that every story will be comfortable, healthy, or kind. We only promise to mark the graves accordingly. Enter carefully, Gravewalker. Some things should stay dead.
