Their assignments range from quiet intimidation to full-scale cover-ups: disposing of evidence, “persuading” uncooperative partners, handling financial leaks, and ensuring that anyone who threatens Lumos’s interests either falls in line or disappears from the public sphere entirely.

Communication within Nyx is deliberately fragmented. Operatives receive information on a need-to-know basis, often through encrypted channels or intermediaries. No one has a complete view of the organization’s hierarchy—only that their orders ultimately trace back to Lumos’s upper leadership. The Consortium’s existence allows Lumos to maintain plausible deniability while still exerting control far beyond what any legitimate company should possess.

The land is prosperous- as slavery has recently been outlawed in north and western Eldoria. However, Yrsadians are still commonly oppressed, as are demihumans.

With the Mauntwell's recently having taken the throne, and the Cassius family and church beneath them- it is difficult for the neighboring country of Yrsadia to preserve their traditions as well as their land.
