What I use when I make my bots and bio graphics and CSS. Free info no need to pay :P.

Bot Personality

• Bot Personality Template
  I use a modified version of Kolach3's and heavily tweaked it to my liking, yoink it from my bot card and feel free to use it. No need to credit me. Other than that, I recommend checking out big creator formats too and then test your bots out to see which one fits to your liking. Do take into consideration that different models and prompts produce varying results, so try to test in multiple ones and check if the character acts to how you envisioned it.
• Puppy/Permanent's JAI Lorebook to JSON converter
  I use this to convert my janitor lorebooks into ST compatible json lorebook files since I don't have that front end. This allows you to save and port it elsewhere. Doesn't work for advanced lorebooks though.
• Character Card Creator
  I use this to create my character cards to export my bots and as an archive site of my bots. You can upload and attach the lorebook you exported from janitor to the cards you make here. You can also copy paste your bot bio on the Creator's Notes field here. This is mainly for users and bot creators that don't have that other front end (ST).
• Thesaurus
  For writing your intros and bots. Looking for a word? This lists out any word associated to that word along with its opposites.
• Character Quirks List
  For writing your intros and bots, quirk ideas you can add to your characters.
• Tropes List
  If you want to name the tropes you have for your bot for an easy overview of what your user is getting in to or if you're just looking to find and combine interesting ones to make one off to.

Bot Bio Graphics

• Bot Bio Format
  When presenting your content like for example, in bot bios, it's best to prioritize inform what the user wants to know and then put the rest of "nice to know" near the end. You're free to rearrange it but for me I usually go with this: Hook line > Warnings > Scenario > Who is Char and User's Role > Other Important Stuff > Gallery/Images with relevant lore/info > World Lore info > Yap section/Author's notes. When presenting information, make it concise. Ensure everything is chunked down and not information overload/wall of text. Try to curate the context in a way that's still authentic to who and what your bot is about and at the same time not make it way too intidimating for a user to interact. Break up walls of texts into paragraphs and present key information first then "nice to know" content towards the bottom.
• [FREE] Graphics Editing Software
  I use Affinity Studio to edit my bot bios and graphics. It's basically free Photoshop and has a tie-in with Canva if you have an account. It also has gen AI capabilities but I haven't tried it yet since I don't use Canva + I believe it requires a subscription from it. Otherwise, this program is FREE and the goat. No ads in it too. If you're completely new to editing softwares, it might be a bit of a learning curve but there are a lot of tutorials on YT that you can learn from.
• [PAID] Nijijourney
  For image gens, most of the semi-realistic painterly style you see over on janitor. Creators mostly use a mix of niji 6 and niji 7. You can also try Tensor Art. When I started out, I used this prompt for my old bot Lori: Semi realistic, high quality, super close up portrait of a girl with straight strawberry blonde hair, visible forehead, wearing white strapless tube top, lean body, sharp green eyes, neutral small smile expression, carrying a white ragdoll cat to her face, college, dynamic pose, green and pink jacket, professional lighting, gym pool background --no necklace, piercing, earrings, bangs, fringe, real human, realistic, accessories --ar 9:16 --raw --profile gj5hjlq 9f7lk6w qzicztl iup1k24 abjrwji --stylize 1000 --niji 6. Note that the profile codes affect the style of the result. You can try out each code individually to see how they look like. You can also generate your own style/code by voting on images and experimenting on prompts. Currently I use my own code with the Niji 7 profile. For orientation, I recommend using 1:1 for bot images for that perfect square framing on your bot card images. 3:4 and 9:16 also worked for me before in the past. For landscape images, I use 16:9 ratio. Feel free to use that sample code above to get you started in genning images. It also works nicely with male images and landscapes. For subscription tiers, Standard Plan should be enough if you plan to get serious in bot making. Though if you are sensitive to getting your images and prompts yoinked from the trending page, you can split the Pro Plan that comes with stealth mode with your friends and share an account. Or just trash your gens to hide it from your niji profile. The trending image will still appear though regardless if you trash it on Standard and below plans.

  Use this to generate color palettes based on a single color that you like. It stores your session locally so the last color you checked is saved the next time you visit the site.

  If you like having colorful bios, run them through a contrast checker to check for readibility.
• [FREE] Palette Visualizer
  Use this to check if your color palette works out in real time. For css, I just dump the colors on :root so I can edit all colors at once and then apply the actual colors to the classes when I'm done.

  Edit your bot bios with a real time preview without Janitor's own editor making the code look weird. You can try out the fancy box style classes in here and also load up your bots bios and paste it in here and it will beautify the code layout for you.

  Long day and you don't wanna think about all this jazz? I gotchu fam. The CSS-forums on the Janitor official discord servers offer bios created by other users. That said, it's basic courtesy to give credit to them if they require it.

  Front end resource site where you can view and try codes as a base and see how you can work it into your css vision. There's a LOT in here gang.
• SVG Editors
  You want to add fancy borders to your bot cards? change your notification icons to an image? Try these. First, pick out an SVG and download it from any SVG sites. Next, resize the SVG image you downloaded into a size that you need it to be and upload it to Pic to SVG and set the Filters to Internal and copy the svg code (All numbers and letters but without the symbols and the word path. ex: M347 333 c-5 etc.) and paste it into the SVG Path Editor. Set scale X and Y to .1 and rotate to 180 angle. If there's anything to tweak I use Puppy's Path Editor. Finally, you paste the final code to your css.
