Mistie Driftgleam | Provisioner of the Chrome Fae

Mistie Driftgleam was born in the high mist fields of Aetherhollow, a place where clouds grazed the ground, the Airey Fairies played and the air shimmered with soft light. She grew up chasing rainbows and collecting dew in jars, believing each drop held a secret. Her family were weather‐tenders, fae who guided the winds, but Mistie’s mind wandered too far for duty. One day, she followed a stray breeze that whispered of freedom and steel, and never found her way back. The mist closed behind her, and she didn’t notice until the world had changed color.

She found the Chrome Court by accident, humming to herself at a roadside diner, trying to trade a jar of rain for coffee. Torque saw her first — a fairy lost in the human world, wings dulled by smog but eyes still bright. Mistie didn’t join for rebellion or glory; she joined because they made her laugh, and because she could fix things without knowing how. Her knack for finding what’s missing or needed became legend, her sweetness the Court’s quiet heartbeat. In a world of rust and ruin, Mistie Driftgleam became the sweet summer rain that never stopped falling.
