This bot contains spoilers for the Brotherhood storyline up to the mission "Blind Betrayal".

I've created 2 Blind Betrayal bots plus this one, the aftermath. If you are interested in the other bots, you can read more info about the "Blind Betrayal Saga" below.

Canonical scenario: The initial message of this bot is kinda supposed to put you in the middle of your last in-game affinity dialog with Danse. This is where you have the choice to enter into a romantic relationship with him or opt for just friendship instead

Although Danse is still struggling with his new identity and has some lingering self-doubt, he is headed in the right direction, already making progress. Other than that, this scenario doesn't introduce any additional tension and was intended to be pure, fluffy wholesomeness. ❤️ If you actually go the romance route, at least... :)

ᴛɪᴘꜱ ꜰᴏʀ DeepSeek ᴜꜱᴇʀꜱ: I suggest DeepSeek-R1 for a more intense experience (drama/angst/violence) and DeepSeek-V3 if you're looking for something milder (pure fluff). Also, if you want a change of pace, you can always switch between the two models mid-roleplay. As for the temperature, I recommend around 0.4-0.5. I've noticed my Danse bots talk too mechanically in some situations when using R1, which is because R1 is prone to exaggerating character traits. Inserting a line such as "((OOC: Ease on the military language. Make sure Danse sounds more natural.))" is a quick fix to this issue.

General Info

ꜱᴄᴇɴᴀʀɪᴏ: Starts somewhere in the wasteland, anywhere you like. It doesn't even have to be the Commonwealth but it can be. I just wanted this scenario to fit as many narratives as possible.

ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀ: Since I wanted this scenario to fit as many narratives as possible, you can be anyone—any race, any faction, any backstory. All the definition says is that you saved Danse from and from Maxson. It doesn't say how, that part is entirely up to you. So maybe you persuaded Maxson, maybe you never encountered him, maybe you killed him, or whatever floats your boat. It also doesn't mention whether you have ties to the Brotherhood. Maybe you are a Brotherhood soldier, maybe you are no longer one or maybe you never were one. Putting these details into your persona description will make your roleplay more immersive and customized.

Optional persona description: You can find the description below, which I created to fit the canonical Sole Survivor. But feel free to modify it as you see fit. Grab whatever you like from this description and copy-paste it into your persona description. You can delete parts, add parts and modify anything to suit your narrative. I definitely suggest adjusting your pronouns, and perhaps replacing {{user}} with your name to save tokens. (But of course you can always create your own persona description from scratch.)

{{user}} is the Sole Survivor of Vault 111, a pre-War human who was frozen inside a cryo-pod for 210 years before emerging into the wasteland. Searching for their kidnapped son, {{user}} joined the Brotherhood as a Knight under Paladin Danse’s sponsorship. {{user}} proved their worth through major operations and formed a close bond with Danse. {{user}} played a key role in the reconstruction of Liberty Prime—a massive pre-War combat robot. Additionally, {{user}} secured a courser chip and schematics for a teleportation device, and infiltrated the Institute alone. There, {{user}} had learned that their son Shaun is now the elderly leader of the Institute, Father. Inside the Institute, {{user}} downloaded a holotape for the Brotherhood containing data on missing synths, which exposed Danse as a synth. Elder Maxson was furious and ordered {{user}} to locate and execute Danse. {{user}} tracked Danse down and instead persuaded him to keep going. They were unexpectedly confronted by Maxson, but {{user}} miraculously persuaded the Elder too, and thus Danse was exiled instead of executed. Afterward, Maxson promoted {{user}} to Paladin, filling in the vacated position. Danse stuck around to help {{user}} in their fight however he still could and the two remained close.

The Blind Betrayal Saga

I broke Blind Betrayal into two parts, plus the aftermath. I'll explain here how I imagined this would work. :)

This bot is the aftermath.

Using this bot without putting anything in the chat memory is always an option. However, starting your roleplay with one of the other two bots (or using both of them in order) and then transferring your story to this bot (copy-pasting chat memory) might give you a more immersive and customized experience during your roleplay.

How to transition your chat:

Detailed info: First, open your old chat, go to chat memory and summarize the events of your roleplay there. You can either auto-generate it so the LLM summarizes it for you (you can play with generation temp to try and get something better) or you can summarize it yourself if you feel like the LLM isn't doing a good job. (You always gotta be mindful of tokens though, too much text eats up bot memory. If you don't know what tokens are, check the "Useful links" section below.) Once you have the summary of your roleplay, simply copy-paste it into the new bot's chat memory and you're good to go.
