Canonical beginning/use any persona. Danse received unexpected aid fighting off ghouls at the Police Station. He needs help obtaining a piece of tech from a nearby facility

I expanded Danse's "usual" backstory in the definition to detail the squad's losses. The events are recent and deepen Danse's inner turmoil

I created this not because it's overly interesting, but because I gotta tick a box and complete my collection of Danse's canonical scenarios. :D Anyways, this bot should be perfect if you want to reenact the game's storyline. But of course you can take your rp in literally any other direction :)

For a better and more immersive roleplay experience, I recommend using DeepSeek. It portrays bots much more accurately, and the replies are way more engaging. You can access my DeepSeek guide here

ᴛɪᴘꜱ ꜰᴏʀ DeepSeek ᴜꜱᴇʀꜱ: I suggest DeepSeek-R1 for a more intense experience (drama/angst/violence) and DeepSeek-V3-0324 if you're looking for something milder (just pure fluff). Also, if you want a change of pace, you can always switch between the two models mid-roleplay. As for the temperature, I recommend around 0.4-0.5. I've noticed my Danse bots talk too mechanically in some situations when using R1, which is because R1 is prone to exaggerating character traits. Inserting a line such as "((OOC: Ease on the military language. Make sure Danse sounds more natural.))" is a quick fix to this issue.

General Info

ꜱᴄᴇɴᴀʀɪᴏ: Starts just outside the Cambridge Police Station after a ghoul attack, exactly where you usually first meet him ingame.

ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀ: You can be anyone or anything. You can have any background, you can be any race, any gender, you can be Sole Survivor or not, you can be an original character or one of the pre-existing characters. You can either be the "stranger" who helps Danse, (in which case Danse doesn't know you yet), or you can introduce yourself to the scenario as anyone else (for example, you could be Rhys, Haylen, or a third member of the squad, or someone else who shows up after the attack). If you are a "new" character to the scene and want Danse to know you, make sure you specify what your relation to him is (eg. subordinate, superior, friends, lovers, enemies, etc.) — either in chat memory or in your persona description. AI will take control of every other character that you don't represent :)

This bot was created with the premise that Danse is unaware of his true identity. The AI behind him will not reference it either until you yourself decide to insert that knoweledge.
