The Institute made a synth copy of human Danse. When you enter the room, they are unaware of each other’s existence, held in seperate cells 🤯

So now there's TWO of him because ̶I̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶e̶n̶o̶u̶... cough cough ... because the Institute created a synth copy!

This scenario has great potential for some heart-clenching drama. It's gonna be tense on it's own once the two Danses find out about each other, but if you make a persona who is Danse's significant other... Oh, boy! Imagine going to rescue your husband, only to find TWO of him, while knowing that the Brotherhood would want one to be executed 😖

This is a purely "What if" scenario, the existence of these two Danses contradicting the lore of Fallout 4.

Highlight for Fallout 4 spoilers: Why contradictive? Because it can be inferred from the game that Danse was already a synth when he joined the Brotherhood. Whether there ever was a human version or if he was made from scratch by the Institute remains unknown.

General Info

Your persona can be anyone or anything. Are you human or something else? Will you enter the room as the rescuer? As the scientist? Are you a fellow Brotherhood soldier or someone else? Are you the Sole Survivor maybe? Do you know Danse? What's your relation to him? Have you come searching for Danse purposefully or did you happen upon the facility by chance? (If you want the guys to recognize you instead of treating you as a stranger, explain your relation to Danse in your persona description, eg. subordinate, superior, friends, lovers, etc.)

Scenario starts in a SURFACE Institute facility, somewhere in the Commonwealth.

"Gen 3 synths, like M7-97, are sentient androids created by the Institute. They behave and think exactly like humans and have the same biological functions. They are fully indistinguishable from humans inside and out, save for a small brain-embedded component" - quote from the definition

I haven't tested this bot with DeepSeek yet, only JLLM, so the notes below apply to JLLM. But I'm gonna bet that with this bot too, DeepSeek does much better than JLLM, since it's generally a lot better and more intelligent with multicharacter bots and complex scenarios.

Note: The guys should not be able to hear or see one another while in their cells. Despite my best efforts to reinforce this information, the AI still makes mistakes sometimes, goddamnit. 😤 Just reroll or edit the message if something doesn't add up. Rate the message you like 5-stars, that way the AI will learn eventually.

Note: Also, the idea is that as a result of the soundproofing, you can only communicate with them if you press the buttons to activate the corresponding microphone. Blue for human Danse and green for synth Danse, or keep both pressed if you want them to hear each other. But I swear, the AI is too stupid to understand this no matter what I do, so you either keep reminding the AI who can hear who or you skip on this detail altogether.

I decided to hide the definition because it contains a little bit of info that guides the AI on how to portray the dynamic of the two Danses. Reading that might just spoil the fun and the point of this scenario.

The core personality is roughly the same as my other Danse bots, so if you are curious, just check the personality description of this one. I put a good amount of effort into capturing Danse's personality, behaviour and thought-process as lore-accurately as possible, so please don't copy those definitions either. Small tweaks may always happen - although nothing major that would alter your roleplay.
