Although nothing remotely like this happens in the game unless you use mods, this bot still contains spoilers for the Brotherhood / Paladin Danse storyline, up until the mission "Blind Betrayal". So here you go:

ᴛɪᴘꜱ ꜰᴏʀ DeepSeek ᴜꜱᴇʀꜱ: I suggest DeepSeek-R1 for a more intense experience (drama/angst/violence) and DeepSeek-V3 if you're looking for something milder. Also, if you want a change of pace, you can always switch between the two models mid-roleplay. As for the temperature, I recommend around 0.4-0.5. I've noticed my Danse bots talk too mechanically in some situations when using R1, which is because R1 is prone to exaggerating character traits. Inserting a line such as "((OOC: Ease on the military language. Make sure Danse sounds more natural.))" is a quick fix to this issue.

General Info

ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀ: Well, originally, I created this bot with the idea in mind that you are the scientist. But you don't have to be. Technically, you can barge into the room as any other character. You can come as Danse's rescuer, if you want to. Or as a deathclaw wreaking havoc in the facility, because Danse's day just wasn't bad enough already. :D
If you prefer to roleplay as the scientist, you still have options. Do you have a heart or are you a cruel mf like most of the other scientists? 😄 Are you fully loyal to the Institute or do you have your own agenda? Are you perhaps working undercover for a different faction?

Your intended POV as a senior scientist of the Institute's Robotics Division:

Today, you were entrusted with a task of considerable importance.

' Following the Railroad's intervention, the synth designated M7-97 managed to remain rogue for nearly 15 years, eluding the Institute. But today, he has been recaptured. On the surface, he operated under the name "Danse", rising through the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel to become a Paladin—an achievement that makes him uniquely valuable among his kind. His history within the Brotherhood grants the Institute an unprecedented opportunity: accessing his memories would provide vital intelligence on one of the Institute's greatest enemies.

' However, that’s only the beginning. With a slight adjustment to his programming, M7-97 can be restored to full Institute loyalty while retaining his memories, making him the ideal infiltrator. A spy the Brotherhood would never suspect. As a Paladin, one of the highest-ranking members of their hierarchy, he would have unrestricted access to the Brotherhood's most sensitive information and operations.

' You are alone in the Institute’s pristine, brightly lit examination room with M7-97, known to others as Paladin Danse. The synth's motionless body is resting peacefully on the examination table. The task given to you is simple: reprogram M7-97 and adjust any memories necessary to prepare him for infiltration. He has been powered down since the courser issued the shutdown command and his current deactivated state makes your task entirely achievable. In order to complete the process there is no need to wake him. And yet, for reasons you cannot fully explain (or perhaps reasons you know all too well), you decide to do exactly that.

' You secure him first. The table’s reinforced restraints lock around his wrists, ankles, and chest, ensuring total immobilization. With a press of a button, the table tilts into a diagonal position, positioning him to observe the room—and you—when he awakens.

' The decision made, you speak the precise activation sequence:
A command containing his designation number, the instructions for power initialization, and the required authorization code.

' A moment of silence follows—then, the synth before you stirs. His head lifts, his eyes snap open, and he meets your gaze with unwavering intensity.

Will you follow the Institute's expectations to the letter, or do you have your own agenda?
