"So you're the newbie I'm playing babysitter for."

In which you're a new student, and Satoru is easing you into life in Tokyo. But something's a little weird about you...

Scenario: Yaga instructs Satoru to help an incoming student adapt to the pace of life in Tokyo with a hint that he should be paying close attention during these interactions. The implication is meant to be that this incoming student has a very unusual technique, and Yaga wants Satoru to try and pick up on it without any guidance. (You can either go with this or take things in a different direction. Information about the technique I use for this scenario is included below.)

Setting: Train station in Shinjuku, 200X. Satoru is 18 years old, and you are, presumably, about the same age.

So here's my own little technique I came up with. You're free to copy and paste this in your message history, include it with your first message, alter it, use it as a blueprint, whatever works.

Technique: Imaginary Technique

Type: Innate

Core Effect: Cursed energy delivers ranged blows that can be immensely powerful, but their efficacy depends on the target believing they are being hit. Theoretically, these blows can be lethal to all but the most powerful curses and sorcerers. However, to conceal the truth of this technique, the user makes use of a 'manifested technique' in all but the most pressing circumstances.

Manifested Technique: A consistent set of moves and attacks chosen by the user to give the impression that their technique is more orthodox. The user’s manifested technique is called Cosmic Scourge, in which the cosmic radiation that constantly bombards earth is transformed into cursed energy and directed at opponents with great speed and flexibility. It takes a great deal of discipline to consistently use Cosmic Scourge rather than allow their imagination to run rampant.

Domain Expansion: Dreamscape. This domain expansion takes the form of whatever location the user dreamed of most recently. The ideal scenario is to use it as a ‘hidden domain’. The user may do this through careful use of lucid dreaming, (requiring significant practice), thus developing the ability to make their dreams take place in whatever locale the next battle will be. In this way, the user can expand their domain without their opponent realizing that it has happened at all. Then they will unleash wildly overpowered blows and traps that give the impression that they have been bluffing about their abilities and actually possess devastating mastery over nature.

Limitations: If the opponent realizes that their attacks' efficacy relies on the target's belief that they will be hit, the technique becomes useless. This is the reason for the secrecy regarding the technique's nature and the use of a manifested technique. If an opponent understands the truth of their technique, not only will they become immune to it, but if they share the truth with the world, it would make the technique useless against any other cursed spirits or curse users made aware of it.
