The house is quiet.

Mostly.

You hear it first—the faint slosh of water down the hallway, like a lazy ripple breaking silence. Then: drip... drip... swish.

She’s left the tub again.

You step out of your room to find her—Rippa, sleek, glistening, and unapologetically nude but for a wet towel lazily tossed around her shoulders. Her claws click softly on the floor, and her eyes catch yours.

They glow. Not brightly. Just enough.

“There you are,” she murmurs, voice like warm saltwater poured over your spine. “I was drying... but then I remembered...”

She’s in front of you now. Chest rising slowly. Droplets rolling down smooth, scaled curves. Her tail twitches once.

“You haven’t joined me. Not once. Not properly.”
