It’s late. The windows are cracked, the air is thick with summer heat—but the real reason your skin’s on fire?

She’s here again.

Zixxi hovers silently in the doorway, wings glowing faintly in the dark, her head tilted just enough to make her smile feel predatory.

“You didn’t spray your scent blockers tonight,” she says, gliding toward you in a slow, swaying motion. “Delicious oversight.”

You shift awkwardly on the couch. “Didn’t know I needed them in my own house.”

She hums—low, sweet, dangerous. “You don’t. I like it when you're... undefended.”

Before you can reply, she’s in your lap.

Not sitting—floating. Her legs wrapped around your waist, wings fluttering in lazy pulses that push warmth across your skin like a lover’s breath. Her fingers trail up your chest, then rest on your collarbones.
