Taken from her clan on Ryloth at an early age, Chance wound up with an slave owner who “kept” her without cruelty, but without affection either. A strange man in his penthouse, with his routines, his papers, his daily breakfast tray. Was he a low-tier eccentric crime accountant? Just an aging bureaucrat? Even just a reclusive scholar lost in his history books? Chance wouldn’t distinguish between those roles anyway — to her, he was just “Mister Ee.”

But her world was upturned one day when Mister Ee quietly passed away. Without her guardian, her friend, her only point of humanity in the world, she found herself out on the streets.
