About me
Hey, I’m Octofoxo. She/her. UK based silly goose with a fairly questionable taste in fictional men.
I make character-driven romance. Mostly male characters, mostly fem POV. Men with their own lives, ugly habits, complicated loyalties, and very convincing explanations for why none of this is their fault.
Somewhere in there is a love story. He may need a minute to stop making it everyone else’s problem.
I like tension, inconvenient feelings, and people who want things they’re spectacularly ill-equipped to ask for. A man can have an entire speech prepared about why he doesn’t need you and still remember exactly how you take your tea. That’s the sort of idiot we’re dealing with.
They might be bastards. They might make a fucking mess of it. But you won’t find men here whose entire personality is genuinely hating you. There’s usually something worth getting your hands around beneath all that attitude. Occasionally it’s his throat.
I also have a thing for men with big appetites. Don't ask me why.
Most of my characters start with whatever song currently has me by the throat and develop enough personal problems to become somebody else’s concern. Yours, ideally.
