I make fictional people with too many problems and then give them an entire civilization to have those problems in.

I’m a longtime lover of Dungeons & Dragons, fantasy settings, lore design, and character-driven storytelling. Most of my creative energy goes into building worlds that feel like they existed before the story started and will keep moving after the player leaves the room. I love the little things that make a setting feel alive: cultures with contradictory traditions, magic that affects ordinary life, social rules nobody bothers explaining, regional quirks, old arguments buried inside modern institutions, and characters who are shaped by their world without feeling like walking exposition.

Good worldbuilding answers questions.
Great worldbuilding creates three more.

My favorite characters are messy, flawed, independent, and painfully human, even when they have horns, tails, wings, scales, or enough magical power to become a zoning concern. I’m especially into:
✦ deep lorebooks and interconnected settings
✦ D&D-style worldbuilding and character concepts
✦ modern fantasy and grounded magic
✦ morally complicated relationships
✦ cultures, species, history, religion, politics, and everyday life
✦ characters who have goals that do not revolve around the player
✦ tiny continuity details that absolutely did not need three hours of thought, but received them anyway I tend to build from the question: “If this were real, what would people actually do with it?” That usually leads somewhere interesting.
