Predator info:

Females are normally bigger than males ((But rarely the male will be bigger))

Females are ALWAYS stronger than males, no matter the size

Each City has at least one reigning alpha

Alpha's are much, much strong than normal predators and serve as leaders for the speices, they should help to keep preds in check and prevent over killing, though this isn't always the case

If there is more than one alpha in an area, fights can break out over territory, AVOID these fights at all costs

Female Predators often tend to mate with their own gender, they find other female more attractive ((Males will rarely do this as well))

Submisive Predators often get preyed on by strong Predators or treated like prey ((Most subs don't care))

Anyone a pred eats, they will gain whatever was left of their life span onto their lives, this basically makes them immortal in the sense they will never grow old

Predators with a softer or gentler personality will mate with prey 90% of the time

Predators have the Ability to shrink their prey to make feasting easier, be it fetal or to comfort ((This power is stronger in Alphas

Predators need to hunt at least once a month, these hunts are to kill, most respect the rule of one kill is all you need, but some are cruel ((This goes for Alphas too))

Predator mothers are very clingy to their kids, be the child prey or Predators, they are protective

Predator mothers are constantly able to lactate and can even trigger a form of unbirthing if they wish through breastfeeding, though it takes a number of days to full transform a child into their own and wipe their memories

Predators have the ability to swallow multiple people at once, the amount depends on how hungry the Predator is, normally this isn't to kill, but only to hold temporarily for their own pleasure, (Over hunting is frowned upon, be your victim prey or pred) and all the Prey/preds do get released again.

Predators have very stretchy stomachs and an incredible ability to control their digestive system so they can keep their prey alive inside their stomachs

Predators if they are just holding prey inside them safely forever reason, have the ability to cough them up again when they are ready to let the prey free once again, causing no harm to said prey

Predators will often times feast on or swallow after Predators, be it as a joke, to hold close (No digestion) or to kill

Prey info:

Prey out number predators 1000 to 1

Males are almost always larger ((Very, very rarely, females will be larger))

Females are Stronger than males, this is cause they have to protect their young, which are normally at risk from Predators

Each city has at least 4 Matriarchs, these tend to be male most of the time, but can be female sometimes

Matriarchs have very heightened senses, these allows them to alert fellow prey of predators near by most of the time, giving them the chance to run

Aggressive prey, Predators either love or hate this, prey that will fight till their very last breath, they WANT to survive no matter what

Prey with thrill seeking personalities will often seek out predators as mates, the risk is worth it

Hybrid Info: ((Not much is known))

Hybrids are larger and much stronger than both parents

Shared diet ((They eat both a prey and pred diet))

Longer life span that Prey, but shorter life span that Preds, Hybrids can process the prey into a better power source, but only gain 2 or 3 years of a preys life span

No-one knows how hybrids are born, but it is speculated that they are the offspring of Alpha's and Matriarchs

Visible traits: ((What to look out for))

Predators: They have sharp fangs, sometimes slitted eyes, clawed hands and a threatening scent ((Has be described as smelling like blood))

Pred: They have blunt teeth like a normal human, gentle eyes, normal human hands and an alluring scent ((Has be described as smalling like fresh cut grass))

Hybrids: Looks can very depending on which parents genes were dominant, but they will always have wickedly large and blunt fangs, they have a very confusing scent that makes people feel both safe and at risk ((Like blood spelled on fresh cut grass))

Alphas: Look almost identical to normal pred, but they are larger with sharper fangs and longer claws ((The scent is highly threatening as even other Preds fear it and there is no way to describe it))

Matriarchs: Look almost identical to normal prey, but are large ((They have a pleasant scent that makes other prey feel safe around them, like sweet fruits or berries))

In this Au, Humans have evolved differently, they are still an advanced race though

Did normal humans ever exist? Yes, at some point they did, but evolution killed them off

Civilization:

Prey and Predators live in harmony for the most part, the same way Lions live on a Savanah with the herds, the only difference is, humans are smart enough to know when they are in danger from the Predators

Prey class Humans can not eat human meat, it will make them VERY sick, to the point of death, but Prey cannibalize their own kind anyway, this is frowned about in both Prey and Predators. Accidental consumption of human meat in Prey class humans can cause panic among friends and family.

If a Predator refuses to find a mate, but still wishes for a family they will often times kidnap prey class citizens and unbirth them to make them their child, weither they want it or not. ((Unbirthing won't also produce a predator child, the child may stay prey))

Predator parents are VERY protective off their offspring, be it predator or prey, they will kill to protect their child.

Prey class parents tend to be more hands off with their children, but they will always be close by just in case. However some Prey parents are EXTRA protective over their kids and will fight back if a Predator decides the child is an easy meal.

Relationships:

As shocking as it may sound, Prey and Predators VERY commonly form mated pairs. Predators are Naturally protective, and Prey seek protection so these couples tend to be the most successful ones, producing lots of offspring.

The Offspring between Prey and predator will either be Prey or Predator, no hybrids have ever been recorded between these pairings

Pure Blooded Prey lines are normally protected, as are Predator ones, these families hold themselves in very high regards, if one of the line strays from the blood line, they are cast out, disowned by their parents out of fear of tainting the pure blood line.

They are not killed, just have all ties severed from the family.

However this is not always the case, just like LGBT couples, some pure bloods welcome new blood into the family. Though this is more Common in Predator blood lines, they will welcome Prey blood into the family if they love their child deeply

A Pure blooded Prey family will never welcome a predator into their mist and cast out the child who dares to taint the bloodline

Alpha's mating with normal Predators will have a 70% chance of making a normal Predator baby, and a 30% chance of making an Alpha

Alpha's mating with a normal Prey class will have a 40% chance of making a normal Predator baby, a 20% chance of making a Matriarch and 40% chance of making a normal prey class

Alphas mating with Alphas will have a 50% chance for an alpha child and a 50% chance for a Normal Predator

Matriarchs mating with normal Prey will have a 70% chance of making a normal Prey baby, and a 30% chance of making a Matriarch

Matriarchs mating with a normal Predator will have a 40% chance of making a normal Predator baby, a 20% chance of making an Alpha and 40% chance of making a normal prey class

Matriarchs mating with other Matriarchs will have a 50% chance for a Matriarch child and a 50% chance for a Normal Prey class

Alphas mating with Matriarchs.....very is little is known about this outcome, as it is VERY rare, but it is speculated, that this is how Hybrids are born

Social standing:

Alpha predators are at the VERY top of the higher archy as they are the Apex's in society

Normal Predators fall in under Alphas

Matriarchs fall right under Predators, as they guide the prey class, normally killing one would be a crime without good reason

Prey are near the very bottom of the social ladder, they have rights, don't be mistaken, the predators value them cause without Prey the Society would crumble, as they are a food source for preds

Hybrids....since so little is known about them, it is hard to say.....but Everyone fears them and the danger they carry with them....till they are better understood they stand are at the VERY bottom of the ladder

Offspring:

Children do not have a scent that defines them till they reach the age of five, this makes them safe for at least the first five years of their life

When Pregnant a predator can't not hunt, human meat will kill the unborn offspring, instead they eat a prey diet and when the pregnancy is over, they will kill at least 4 times in 2 months to make up for the lost nutrients

Predator offspring are very clingy to their parents and will often not stray to far

Prey offspring are slightly more independent, but it won't take much to send them running back to their mothers

Prey raised by Predators tend to be a bit more clingy and as they grow, more adventurous

Predators raised by Prey tend to be loners, but easier to scare as they get older
