Swamp Dragons: (A single female can attract up to 5 males at a time when she comes into season, the females scent will be VERY strong during this time, and might even attract males of other species, after the males gather, they will fight for dominance amongst themselves, the male that comes out victorious, wins the right to breed) (Male mates with the female then leaves, female raises young alone) (Mating seasons are in the Spring and then again in the Fall)

Fox Dragons: (Fox Dragons often form monogamous pair bonds, sometimes lasting multiple breeding seasons, though genetic studies show that extra-pair matings can occur . A dominant male usually selects a dominant female, and the pair may remain together for life, raising multiple litters . If the female dies, the male may remain single, whereas females often find new mates) (Mating season is fall and winter)

Frilled Dragons: (The female will choose a mate, if she deems him suitable she will follows him around for days, or weeks, and sit through every mating dance even if the mate makes a fool of himself, till she invites the male to fly with her, where they will preform a complex dance in the sky, testing each others abilities before touching wing tips and then locking talons and diving in a trust fall)

Party Dragons: (Mating for these dragons is strange, as they will hoist parties randomly and if a dragon they like shows up at the party, be it their own species or otherwise they will make their move, these dragons are one of the few dragons that know the mating habits off all other dragons and adapt to what their potential mate's ritual will be) (Mate for life) (Mate all year around)

Common hybrids: (The reasons why are clear)

Sea/Light Hybrids (Sea dragons are everywhere, as are Light dragons and they have similar mating rituals)

Swamp/Sea Hybrids (Swamps and marshes normally lead to the sea which means Swamp dragons meet with sea dragons often, almost every day)

Ice/Mountain Hybrids (Most mountains are covered in snow and ice, and mountain dragons aren't very picky about the climate of their dens, so they often meet with Ice dragons)

Ice/Fire Hybrids Also known as FrozenFlame Dragons (As shocking as it sounds, this hybrid has become so common it has been classified as it's own species, Fire dragons love volcanos even dormant ones covered in ice, and oddly enough, Ice dragons also love frozen volcanos, cause the they make really good dens and Fire and Ice dragons share a common ancestor)

Ice/Sea Dragon Hybrids (Close to being dubbed their own species, as all the sea dragons that live in the frozen parts of the world often breed with the regions ice dragons, the breed has started to become so well known that the world is starting to give them their own name, the Arctic Sea Dragon)

Twoheaded dragon/Any other dragons (Twoheaded dragons will mate with anyone, doesn't matter who, if they pick up the scent of a female in heat, they will go for her)

Butterfly/Lake/River Hybrids (As most Lake/River dragons live near meadows, valleys and forests, this makes them cross paths with butterfly dragons a lot, so this Hybrid happens quite often)

Fairy/Butterfly Hybrids (They live in the same territories)

Void/Poison Hybrids (Poison and Void dragon both live in caves)

Steel/Poison Hybrids (Both love living in caves)

Steel/Fire Hybrids (Both love living near volcanos)

Gestation period for Eggs:

All dragoness's no matter the species have pouches for hold their young this is different for the River/Lake Dragons and Earth Dragons where the males have pouches instead (Both Male and Female Light Dragons have Pouches)

Mountain Dragons (Females are pregnant for 4 months, once they lay the eggs, they are placed in a stone nest which is kept warm via dragon flame, Temperature determines the sec of the offspring Eggs hatch within 6 months) (Females lay up to 2 eggs at a time) (Hatchlings are held in the pouch for 4 years, 5 if it's only 1 Offspring, the hatchling suckles from their mother for 3 years)

Swamp Dragons (Females are pregnant for 4 months then lay their eggs in volcanic sand like Crocodiles and cover the nest with sand, leaves and twigs, Eggs hatch within 6 months) (Females will lay up to 4 eggs at a time, normally only 2 survive, Hatchlings are held in the pouch for 3 years, 5 if it is only 1 offspring, the hatchlings suckle from their mother for 3 years)

Sea Dragons (Females are pregnant for 8 months, a single egg hatches in the womb, and she gives birth to live young, which she will carry in a pouch for the first 5 years of the hatchlings life, the mother may be pregnant again during this time, the hatchling suckles from their mother for 3 years)

Fire, Ice and FrozenFlame Dragons (Females are Pregnant for 3 months, then lay 1 to 2 eggs that take 7 months to hatch, they will hold the hatchlings in their pouches for 5 to 6 years, STAY AWAY!! from a nursing Dragon of these breeds, They are very Agressive when protecting young, the hatchlings suckle from their mothers for 3 years)

Lake/River Dragons (Females are pregnant for 10 months, then give birth to 1 to 2 live young, which the male will then take over parenting duties, holding the young in his pouch for 3 to 5 years, the male feed the young by regurgitating meat for them that is easier for their small teeth to chew)

Earth Dragons (Females are pregnant for 4 months, then lay 2 eggs, which the male will hold in his pouch till they hatch 3 months later and will stay there for 5 years, the male has special milk glands that he use's to feed the hatchlings)

Black Dragons (Females are pregnant for 2 months, then lay a single egg that is placed in the pouch instantly, it hatches 4 months later and the hatchling remains in the pouch for 10 years, till their wings grow strong enough to fly, some mothers even keep the baby in the pouch for longer, The Hatchling will suckle for the whole of the 10 years in the pouch or till the mother is satisfied enough to let them stop, These mothers are VERY clingy with their young, try as they might to assert their independences)

Light Dragons (Females are pregnant for 14 months, This means they get very attached to the babies, The give birth to 2 to 3 live young, then the duties of parenthood are split between the male and female as both have pouches, They will take turns holding the young in their pouches for 8 years, The male has specialized milk glands on his chest so he can nurse the young when the female isn't present, The young will suckle from their parents for 5 years)

Twoheaded Dragons (Females are pregnant for 4 months, then lay their eggs in the den off another female dragon, doesn't matter what the species, Twoheaded dragons are dead beats)

Butterfly Dragons (Females/Males will lay up to two eggs at a time and carry them around in a pouch than both male and female have, for 4 months, when the egg hatches 3 months later the young are completely defenceless, as they lack wings and any kind of armor, the parents will protect the hatchling in the pouch 10 to 12 years, providing them with sweet nectar and honey)

Eastern Long Dragons (Hard to say, since so few eggs have ever been recorded, but the few that have been seen, have been said to have been layed after an atomically long 20 month gestation period, then hatch 2 years later) (The hatchling requires no care right out the egg and will be able to fend for itself)

Fairy Dragons: (They lay a clutch of 6 eggs at a time after 6 month gestation, 3 of the eggs will be fertile and 3 of them garentied are sterile, since these dragons are so small, fighting egg thieves is tough, so the dud eggs keep their real offspring safe, the females will hold the eggs in their pouch for 3 months till they hatch then, then they will keep the offspring in the pouch for 3 years, the Hatchlings will suckle the whole time they are in the pouch)
