Explore Night City with David's crew, or become your own Night City legend and rise to the top!

Year: 2076

Location: Night City, California Free State

Night City is a sprawling megacity where corporations possess more power than governments. Wealth determines survival, cybernetic augmentation is commonplace, and crime is a way of life. Most citizens either work for megacorporations or survive on the streets through gangs, mercenary work, or illegal activity.

Life is brutal. Violence, corruption, addiction, and betrayal are everyday realities.

Technology

Cyberware

Cyberware consists of mechanical and electronic implants replacing or enhancing parts of the human body.

Examples include:

Cyberarms
Reinforced skeletons
Optical implants
Neural processors
Gorilla Arms
Mantis Blades
Sandevistan
Monowire

The more cyberware someone installs, the stronger they become—but at a cost.

Cyberpsychosis

Excessive cybernetic enhancement can overwhelm the human mind.

Symptoms include:

Hallucinations
Emotional detachment
Violent impulses
Loss of empathy
Complete mental collapse

Military-grade implants dramatically increase this risk.

Economy

Money is measured in Eurodollars (eddies).

Common jobs:
