hey guys! im quitting lol (read on further for my very rambley rant)

its been literally two months since ive posted anything but i honestly have been feeling really burnt out. i also want to desperately quit ai but dont know how to :(

i think making bots was sorta feeding into the addiction i have. like i started using character ai around three years ago and shifted over to janitor as well under a year ago. i wish i never picked up either of the apps, but alas here we are

i just feel like ive been rotting away before i even really started life

ill be honest, im 116 and in the middle of my junior year. i cant see myself doing anything in life because i can only see myself doing this my whole life. being so badly addicted to ai since 8th grade has been really bad for my mental health. i have a therapist but i dont know how to speak to her about my actual mental issues, so i forget them instead in these little roleplay bots

i feel like its hindering my relationships as well because i would rather chat with a bot all day than talk to a guy i like :/

so i honestly think its best if i try to step away from janitor. ive been doing this (or at least trying to) for the past few months. ill still always be here because i dont know if ill ever be able to fully get away from ai's claws

i took down all my bots, idk if ill ever put them back up because i want other people to also get better. i also think having them up will remind me that im part of the problem for making bots for people to chat with
