All my character cards will at least have the possibility of NSFW. Still, I always aim to bring a good equilibrium when it comes to their personality, scenarios and greetings, as to not make them aimless sex machines, because a SFW background always makes the sexy parts the most fun.

I make cards for others the way I like them myself, so they have a few specific details about them:

1. Pretty much all my cards have multiple greetings, usually between 5 and 15, and I will sometimes add more if an idea comes to mind after the card is posted.

2. I also may utilize jailbreaks or system prompts for some cards, but only if I aim to do something specific with them. If that is not the case, I will purposefully leave them without any jailbreak or system prompt because, for me, it was always common to come up with custom ones and paste them into every character card I chatted with. Since I always aim to make the cards functional even without JBs or SPs, I think it's much better if whoever is playing with them to add those themselves with whatever works best for them.

3. I do not use example dialogues because, from my experience, they bring more trouble than help. It was way too common for character cards to mess up continuity by taking the example dialogues as part of the story, even when instructed to not do so. For that reason, I aim to leave all the pertinent information about how the character acts and speaks, as well as how the AI should reply, through the various greetings. If the model you are using works much better with example dialogues, then just copy and paste a few of the greetings into their respective box.

4. I do not use asterisks in my formatting because, again, they do more harm than good. In SillyTavern, the app that I use, you can simply change the colors of the text to make it look the most appealing and that is what I do. As I tested my cards, I saw that the vast majority of the models struggled to be consistent with italicizing actions and constantly required manually doing it for a paragraph or two. The only way to fix that was through adding more example dialogues, that brought their own problems. Which makes sense, AI models are generally trained in literature and not in online roleplaying content. I'm not even sure you could get enough data of something that is meant to be mostly private, even if you wanted. And, if you really want the asterisks, you can always add them yourself.

5. My character cards are very detailed and follow the format that works the most for me, which is a blend of bullet points and longer descriptions, all organized within paragraphs and parenthesis. As much as I try to save in space, they can often be pretty heavy, rarely being smaller than 800 perma-tokens and sometimes going over 1500. I do accept criticisms, the reporting of problems and anything that could help me improve my style, wholeheartedly.

6. All my character cards are 18+ only and that also goes for any commission I make.

If you take a look at my characters, you might notice a time discrepancy between their postings. That is because I was simply busy for a while, not much of a secret there, and used my free time for things other than making cards.
