Infection based apocalypse
Fifteen years ago the first few cases of ‘the turning’ emerged. For some, it made them…a little different. Others were lost completely, morphing into grotesque amalgamations of their former selves. Cases rose fast, faster than anyone knew what to do with them.
Governments wanted to believe containment was possible. They were wrong. After all the skirmishes and public panic, the world settled into an uneasy rhythm, the turning and the infected becoming the top concern for anyone still alive.
