I alone have too much free time.
I make bots in my free time, I'm sorta lack-luster with my writing, but somewhat decent at the generating. I do eventually import my characters to Chub, so if you don't use JanitorAI, use that! I do not use any websites for generating, and use my own computer with a 7800XT. I don't make images to make artists look bad, or to pass off the images as real ones, I had this hobby that I extended into JanitorAI and started writing some basic bots (imo). I figured, "why not get decent at creative writing too?"
My first trending bot was Lea, and reached 93k on the sixth day, getting to the top of the 3rd page trending :)

I hope I stay semi-niche, because I felt pressured, I started thinking differently about the bots I created, but I also want people to enjoy the stuff I put out, as well give me constructive criticism.
I'm starting to think all bots are popular in one of two ways: An estabished creator, lots of followers, lots of people to know they've posted. Algorithm. Both of my previous trending bots didn't have much bio, personality, format, or anything, so how did they win over a carefully crafted bio, personality, and image? Since there's nothing I can do, I'll keep posting bots I like, personal use, hobbyist, fluff and other things. To everybody I've received feedback from, thank you!
I keep all of my bots personality around 1k tokens, i think the most i'd have it at would be 1.5k. I like to save on memory space for people who use JLLM (that's your choice) and proxies, memory matters yo.
I think I prefer names that are 5 > lol. I'll try to stop that.
