What website do you use for your bot images?
Unless otherwise stated, I use Midjourney to make most of my bot profile and bios. If I make a bot for a canon character, I sometimes use the artwork from the show or the actor’s face. For example, I used Nicholas Hoult’s images from the movie Nosferatu for my Thomas Hutter bot. I understand some people find this practice weird. However, I don’t see it as writing with Nicholas Hoult, the celebrity. I view it as Thomas Hutter, the character. Similar to how I like to forget about the celebrity persona when I’m watching a movie. My banners are made using Canva or if I successfully pestered my spouse to whip something up for me.
How do you come up with bot ideas?
I have a treasure trove of original content from my serious writing days. I often draw inspiration from that deep well of chaos. I am also inspired by whatever I’m watching, reading, or playing in my spare time. I sometimes get ideas from my spouse. Finally, some creators on Janitor inspire me daily with their creativity. I see what they’re doing, and it helps jumpstart my often tired brain.
Are there any rules for your review section?
Lol, remember I’m a human being with feelings. I do this for fun and as a way to destress from my often frustrating job. I don’t mind constructive criticism as long as it’s not needlessly cruel. Truly, you guys are an extra pair of eyes that help me miss stuff when the words start to blur together. In addition, while I support you in doing whatever you want to do to my bots (within the rules), I rather not read reviews with references to explicit gore, murder, rape, and so forth. In addition, I would rather avoid slurs, kink-shaming, racism, homophobia and all of that unpleasantness. Let’s keep this corner of the internet filthy but friendly.
Will you make this idea a bot for me?
There is no harm in asking! It might take me forever to get around to it. But if I like the idea, I’ll add it to my list.
Did you code your profile?
Absolutely not. I loathe coding. I commissioned Crowbird to pretty up my profile, and they did an exceptional job with the design and graphic creation! I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a profile upgrade.
