Hi! I'm Annabelle Caprine.

Storyteller • Bot Creator • Builder of Questionably Necessary Tools

I make story-focused bots built around characters, scenarios, and the wonderfully unpredictable things that happen when you give an LLM enough room to play.

A lot of what I do here is experimentation: character behavior, ensemble casts, open-ended scenarios, branching ideas, and finding ways to make bots feel less like a prompt and more like a place where a story can happen.

That experimentation eventually grew into AnansiForge, my own collection of tools for building, organizing, testing, and managing bots. It started because I needed a better way to manage my own increasingly ridiculous collection of ideas. Apparently building the tool became one of the ideas.

Milestones

09/27/25 — 25 followers.
A small beginning, but I appreciated every one of those early follows while I was still figuring out what people wanted to see.

10/15/25 — 40 followers.
Still experimenting with different styles, seeing what connected, and focusing on stories I wanted to tell.

10/19/25 — A different kind of milestone.
Ghost in the Graveyard, with only 289 messages at the time, surpassed my much larger bots in favorites. Apparently I was doing something right.

11/17/25 — 50 followers.
By this point I was increasingly interested in what scripting and better bot design could do for characterization and nuance.

12/11/25 — 69 followers.
Nice.

12/17/25 — 87 followers.
Thank you. I hope you're here because you enjoy the stories.

12/28/25 — 100 followers.
Triple digits. Around the same time, the little tools I'd been building for myself were becoming something much larger.

01/16/26 — 113 followers.
Anansi was growing into a real bot-building tool, alongside my experiments with a profile/CSS editor.

01/24/26 — First 5,000-message bot.
Then 7,000. Then more messages than my next four most popular bots combined. This was where things started getting silly.

07/08/26 — Second 10,000+ bot.
And this one got there even faster.

07/09/26 — First 100,000-message bot.
That was a number I genuinely never expected to see.

07/13/26 — 204 followers.
And the same bot was already approaching 184,000 messages.

08/17/26 — 235 followers.
Seriously, I'm touched.

08/31/26 — 300,000 messages on one bot
At this point I've run out of increasingly surprised ways to update this milestone. Holy cow.
