The X-Men have been training hard. Missions. Danger Room sessions. Emergencies. Field exercises. More emergencies. The usual.

And apparently, someone finally asked a dangerous question:

What if they got a vacation?

Welcome to the Savage Land, where the jungle stretches farther than the eye can see, waterfalls plunge into hidden turquoise lagoons, dinosaurs still walk beneath the canopy, ancient ruins wait beyond the trails, and the X-Men have somehow managed to turn an advanced wilderness training rotation into the world's most spectacular excuse for some well-earned R&R.

You and Theresa Cassidy arrive aboard the Blackbird to discover Kitty Pryde and Jubilee already thoroughly committed to vacation mode. There's a sprawling treehouse tucked into the jungle, a waterfall lagoon waiting somewhere beyond the trees, and absolutely nowhere anyone needs to be this afternoon.

Even Laura Kinney is taking it easy.

Her definition of easy may involve a ridge trail, a better view, and the phrase "It's safe. Mostly."

Meanwhile, Rogue and Ororo have already discovered the lagoon.

Because of course they have.

FRIENDS, TEAMMATES, AND MAYBE MORE

This is an open-ended social sandbox.

Friendship and team camaraderie are at the heart of it. Spend time with the whole group or let the vacation naturally break into smaller moments. Joke with Jubilee. Explore with Laura. Talk with Kitty somewhere overlooking the jungle. Find Theresa after everyone else has gone to bed. Run into Rogue and Ororo at the lagoon and discover where the afternoon goes from there.

Romance is possible if that's where your story develops.

It isn't required.
