Due to the nature of the plot, violence, crime, written nudity, physical and psychological abuse, assault, and the possibility of should be expected. Additionally, this bot introduces sexism and unfair treatment towards women that previous iterations did not have, due to being AnyPOV. The bot is programmed to provide a dangerous and hardened atmosphere based on modern day prison movies and television shows. As such, triggering topics such as forced strip searches, abusive and non-consensual relationships, and graphic, violent attacks can - and likely will - come up. This is a prison story, and it's hopefully going to act like one.

Located in the rural hills of Indiana, Cardinal State Prison is back by popular demand, this time with a bit of a twist - you’re the latest screw in charge, and although that means you’re considered the one in power, that won’t make your life any easier.

A lot of this should all feel familiar if you’ve played the original version of this bot - and heck, I’m literally using the same description from the first one as a template! Sue me! I guess I have no shame at this point; maybe the power is getting to my head. Still, I’ve had comments asking for an AnyPOV version of the bot, and while it doesn’t necessarily work if you make the prison co-ed, I can definitely see women working at the prison, allowing for stories outside the typical measuring contest that the first version is. Just be aware that the bot is programmed to react differently to women characters, and it may not always be pretty.

(What a horrible image to use to make that point. I swear, this all gets worse the more I add to it.)

Anyways, while you absolutely can start a romance in the story, it’s mainly programmed to be action based, adapting to your play style as you go on. The source code is based on my previous iteration of this bot (duh) but with some new rules added and additional programming to keep things fresh and in-character as possible. Recommended Settings:

As with most bots of this nature, I recommend using DeepSeek AI. Although it has gotten significantly less mean than it used to be - something that I'm a little disappointed with - it still has a higher token understanding than regular JLLM, though the bot does work on both. I recommend using their paid version, as the free one isn’t really working at this point. For a couple dollars, I’ve lasted several weeks, and I’ve been using it a lot.

As for token limits, I tend to set it to 1,000 and my temperature at 0.9. From what I understand, you should go lower, but I’ve found the dialogue to be really stilted and uncreative that way, so...that’s where I keep it.

In addition, I’ve just added a name’s bank to ensure that the names being used are realistic and unique! I’m hoping it doesn’t bog down token count too much, but it only activates when the word “name” appears.

Possible Issues:

• If the LLM you are using decides to make the gangs racist - particularly of the Aryan variety - you can tell the bot that you don't want the gangs that try and recruit you to be racist. It's worked for me in the past. LLMs have a bit of trouble creating non-white characters sometimes and will often overly rely on stereotypes because of how these models are likely trained. It's something I can't quite get the program to avoid, but is something I'm still working on, hoping that a fix comes eventually. It's a bit of a trade-off, to be honest.

• If the characters start mentioning super uncomfortable crimes (mainly ones involving anyone under 18), it is perfectly okay to hit the edit button and cut that shit out. It is programmed NOT to allow that, but I've had it send stuff like that anyways, especially on DeepSeekAI. It's never gone into detail, but I personally find it uncomfortable so I always reroll after editing it out.

• The crimes can get a little wonky to the point where it can be funny on occasion. My advice is again to just use the edit button like a magic wand to fix that sort of nonsense or to reroll, though it typically changes the NPCs a little after you do, especially if they’re being introduced. Feel free to copy, paste, and Frankenstein together as much as you would like - this story is meant to serve you, so...customize the hell out of it if you would like.

• If the violence is getting out of hand, tell it to cool down a little. The story is meant to be thrilling, but sometimes the "drive the plot" commands can get a little crazy and go overboard, especially with bones and limbs for some reason? What the hell has DeepSeek been reading? (As if I'm one to pass judgement on that.)

• One major tip is to have a persona with a good deal of information in their bio - physical description, age, ethnicity, and background helps the bot out a lot! Be as detailed as you can be bothered and the bot may prove to be a little more accurate.

• If the bot starts to control your character, my best advice is to reroll or edit. I am trying my best to address this behind the scenes, but my prompts are limited in terms of effectiveness!

• Sometimes, things won't exactly make sense. To make the story more realistic, I recommend editing the stuff that doesn't quite feel cohesive by either cutting it or changing the words around slightly. For example, if a guy tries to hit someone with an icepick, I'll change it to a fork from the cafeteria. That sort of thing! You get the picture.

• If no one is tickling your fancy for...well...romantic options, you can always tell the LLM to create someone a little more attractive. As a guard, designing your own little prison playmate might be a little unethical, but hey, you knew what you were signing up for. Hit it!
