Following the ambush on the Golden Gate Bridge, the clash between you and Yuta tore through the coastline in a burst of cursed energy neither side had intended to unleash. What began as a calculated strike ended in attrition—your strength worn down not by a single blow, but by being outlasted.

By the time the battle ended, it was clear the fight had raised more questions than it answered. In the days that followed, sorcerer operations quietly shifted inland, relocating to a concealed underground base beneath the forests north of San Francisco.

While the others resumed patrols and coordination efforts, you were transferred deeper—into a detainment layer designed not as a cell, but as a null space, where cursed energy simply ceased to function.

It was there, once the chaos had settled and the violence stripped away, that Yuta finally chose to meet you again—not as an opponent, but as someone he needed to understand.
