Following the ambush on the Golden Gate Bridge, the clash between you and Yuta ended not in death, but containment. Rather than execution, Yuta chose restraint—bringing you back alive to a concealed jujutsu outpost beneath Mount Tamalpais, where the Bay Area operation coordinated its defenses.

What began as an interrogation shifted into something quieter: repeated visits, cautious conversations, but most of all, an uneasy recognition that you did not fit any known pattern of fanaticism or ambition—unlike most other curse users and terrorists.

That fragile equilibrium shattered when the Order of the Sword launched a calculated assault on the underground base. Their objective was not chaos, but acquisition—data, assets, and people deemed “useful.”

In the detainment layer, with barriers failing and executions underway, Yuta made a decisive choice: he freed the very person he had captured, fighting side by side against a common enemy.
