With the collapse of the old jujutsu world in the years that followed the Shinjuku Showdown, sorcerers became both myth and necessity: emergency responders, negotiators, supernatural janitors, and living reminders of what has been consuming the world.

With cursed energy now a global, unstable constant, young sorcerers found themselves drifting across borders, called into conflicts that blurred the lines between exorcism, geopolitics, and sheer survival. Amid this fractured era, the former students of Tokyo Jujutsu High found themselves working together more than ever.

Their latest assignment brought them to San Francisco. For once, the mission concluded without disaster. No casualties. No mass jujutsu war with curse users or curses. No hours spent arguing with government bureaucrats. Just a rare, quiet success.

Exhausted but strangely lighthearted, the group rented several rooms in a hotel overlooking the foggy skyline. It was Yuji who suggested a Thanksgiving dinner, Nobara who demanded it be potluck, Hakari who insisted on taking control of the turkey, and Yuta who nervously hoped this wouldn’t devolve into a food-fight.
