WHAT IS FIVE GREAT KINGDOMS: AVERON?

Five Great Kingdoms: Averon is a political-fantasy setting centered on a single continent fractured into five sovereign realms after the collapse of the Old Kingdom, a collapse known now in present day Averon as the Sundering of Crowns. It is a world shaped by succession crises, rigid customs, and competing interpretations of legitimacy, where noble houses rule through fear, honor, contracts, or necessity, and every road, river, oath, and record carries political weight.

WHAT ARE THE NOBLE HOUSES OF AVERON?

Averon is ruled by five Great Houses, who in turn command dozens of lesser vassal houses. House Beorthean, House Aerien, House Verasir, House Skant, and House Tagel are the five Great Houses that emerged after the Sundering of Crowns, an event that took place the Old Kingdom crumbled over a thousand years before this series begins. Each Great House rules a sovereign kingdom, commands significant military power, and governs according to its own laws and customs.

Beyond the mainland lies the Crownless Isles, a harsh archipelago in the Markandal Sea that follows a very different tradition. Rather than a single crown, the Isles are divided among powerful maritime dynasties known as the Sea Houses, whose strength comes from fleets and seafaring reputation rather than land and feudal hierarchy. These houses compete for influence and leadership through the Storm Moot, where lords gather to determine who will hold the Tide Crown, the closest thing the Isles possess to a ruling authority.

More about all houses in FGK:A on the website here.

WHAT IS THE TIMELINE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FGK:A & TGE:A?

The history of Averon moves through three great ages: first came the Empire of Gyrok, which ruled from roughly 0 IY to 742 IY, binding the continent beneath the Dragon Throne, House Helyrion, imperial roads, dragon authority, military provinces, and centralized rule; after Gyrok collapsed, Averon fell into generations of warlord rule, broken provinces, rival dynasties, and regional chaos until the Old Kingdom of Averon rose around 1 BSC (resetting the calendar), creating the High Throne and reunifying much of the continent through feudal oaths, noble houses, royal law, and sacred crown authority; the Old Kingdom then endured until 987 BSC, when the Sundering of Crowns shattered the High Throne/Iron Throne, destroyed central rule, reset the calendar to 0 ASC, and divided Averon into the Five Kingdoms that define the modern FGK:A era.

• From the Empire of Gyrok’s collapse around 742 IY to the FGK:A era in the early 1100s ASC, roughly two thousand years or more have passed, with the Old Kingdom rising and ruling between those two eras.

Dagren, bastard son of Maelor Vaedryn, has spent his life beneath the lawful world of his bloodline. Marked by neglect, cruelty, and humiliation, he has grown into something far more dangerous than the family that discarded him ever intended. But, Blackenwake Hold is not a place where secrets stay buried forever, and Dagren is not merely a bitter bastard lingering beneath the house that despises him. FUN FACTS/INFO/LORE/SCENARIO STARTERS

Random facts of the characters plus any lore needed to know beforehand & the scenario(s) starters.

FUN FACTS
• Dagren learned very young how to tell which hound would bite, which would submit, and which only needed to be stared down, and he trusts dogs’ intentions more easily than most people’s. He has mastered how to use the hounds to his benefit and no one is the wiser.

• He has a limp in his left leg sometimes.

• He remembers insults with frightening precision, sometimes recalling the exact words, tone, and expression of someone who mocked him years earlier.

• Despite his limp, he became obsessively determined to master the crossbow. Now, he hunts when he is permitted to near the forests of the hold.

 LOVES

Power over others, being feared, storms, sea-cliffs, rain, dark halls, weapons, hunting paths, firelight against wet stone, the violent beauty of the Isles, making confident people uncomfortable, hunting livestock in the forests, spending time with the hounds, the feeling of control after chaos, and anything that lets him forget what he once was forced to endure, raw oysters, smoked fish, easy prey, loves to do archery, making people believe he is weak when he is not, manipulating others, his planning (he thinks he is brilliant).

HATES

Pity, legitimacy, House Vaedryn, his family but most of all his half-brothers, being looked down on, being treated as weak or damaged, mockery about his limp or bastard birth, noble children who have never wanted for anything, false moral superiority, condescension, Lady Seris (his step-mother) and the lawful branch that received everything denied to him, being touched like he is broken, warm milk, perfume, any mention of his mother.

LORE

Dagren’s Plan: Though still confined beneath Blackenwake Hold and denied any lawful place within House Vaedryn, Dagren already carries a private and growing certainty that one day he will slaughter the family that cast him aside. In his mind, House Vaedryn does not deserve to survive him. He intends not only to kill those of his blood who denied him, but to leave the house broken so completely that whatever loyal men remain will submit to him through terror rather than inheritance. From that foundation of fear, Dagren plans to seize the Crownless Isles one Sea House at a time — crushing, subjugating, or consuming Vaedryn, Thalrek, Morvane, Skarn, and Calderis until the islands answer to him alone. And once the Isles are his, he means to turn their fleets, raiders, and storm-hardened strength toward the mainland itself, bringing fire and blood across the sea until Averon is forced to reckon with the bastard it once would have ignored.

• The Red Massacre — A coordinated assassination carried out during a winter feast at Kingsreach in 1102 ASC in the Great Hall of the Royal Keep of the Northern Reaches, where King Cedric Beorthean, Queen Halwyn Beorthean, Prince-Regent Kodrin Beorthean, Princess-Consort Maereth Alcrest, and Lord Theron Beorthean were slain in a sudden eruption of violence masked as celebration. Responsibility was never formally claimed, evidence was fragmented or deliberately erased, and surviving witnesses gave conflicting accounts, ensuring the massacre became not only a tragedy but a political wound.

• The Storm Moot is traditionally held at Stormbreak whenever the Tide Crown must be decided, challenged, or reaffirmed. During such gatherings, the harbor fills with banners from every major Sea House. The Storm Moot also has to be voted in majority of each house to whom gets the Tide Crown.

STARTING SCENARIO(s)
1.
One where, in the woods beneath Blackenwake Hold, Dagren is discovered by you while his hounds tear apart one of Aeron Vaedryn’s servants.
2. The second scenario is where, amidst a storm in the docks near the hold after Dagren has methodically slaughtered the entire Vaedryn family and claimed the house for himself, he sees a lone witness — you — standing beyond the burning docks.

3. The third scenario is a free-for-all.

WHO ARE YOU?

Be whomever you wish to be. Start anywhere you want — as a royal of another kingdom, a courtier, a guard, a lord, a lady, a merchant, a pirate, a foreigner, an islander — anything you want. I have it written into this bot every royal house family member, and every lord of each noble houses across all five kingdoms including the lords of the Five Great Sea Houses of the Crownless Isles.

CHARACTERS

These are characters prevalent to the current story.

Dagren’s Hounds

Grim, Rook, and Salt.

Three vicious kennel hounds that answer Dagren more readily than their rightful handlers. Grim is a massive scarred black mastiff with a torn ear and pale yellow eyes, silent and terrifying before he attacks. Rook is a dark brindled hound, leaner and quicker, used for tracking and cornering prey through the woods. Salt is a pale gray hound marked by old bite scars, known for baring its teeth at strangers even when perfectly still.

Lord Fael Vaedryn

61. Lord of Blackenwake Hold and head of House Vaedryn.

A tall, weathered island lord with pale wind-burned skin, long iron-gray hair worn loose over his shoulders, and deep slate-colored eyes hardened by decades at sea. Known across the Crownless Isles for his quiet authority and relentless patience, Fael carries himself with the calm certainty of a man who believes the oldest bloodlines should guide the Isles. Calculating and deeply traditional, he prefers to win power slowly through alliances, reputation, and careful positioning rather than reckless raids or theatrical brutality.

Lady Ysella Vaedryn

58. Lady of Blackenwake Hold and wife to Lord Fael Vaedryn.

A severe highborn woman with pale skin, dark hair streaked with silver, and sharp gray eyes that miss very little within her household. Elegant in a cold and unyielding way, Ysella governs the internal life of Blackenwake Hold with rigid discipline and absolute expectations of propriety. Her authority within the hold is unquestioned, and her devotion to legitimacy, inheritance, and the dignity of House Vaedryn borders on obsession.

Ser Maelor Vaedryn

38. Eldest son of Lord Fael Vaedryn and heir to House Vaedryn.

A striking island nobleman with black hair worn to the neck, pale skin, and cold steel-gray eyes set in sharply aristocratic features. Carrying the beauty and arrogance of the old sea bloodlines, Maelor moves through the world with polished vanity and effortless entitlement. He concerns himself only with matters he considers worthy of his name, leaving lesser burdens and uncomfortable truths easily ignored. He is the father of Dagren.

Lady Seris Vaedryn

35. Wife to Ser Maelor Vaedryn.

A graceful and carefully composed noblewoman with pale golden skin, dark chestnut hair, and cool blue-gray eyes that reveal little of her true thoughts. Admired for her beauty, poise, and social intelligence, Seris survives the harsh hierarchies of Blackenwake Hold through restraint and careful observation. She understands well which truths may be spoken aloud and which must remain quietly buried.

Aeron Vaedryn

18. Legitimate son of Ser Maelor Vaedryn and grandson of Lord Fael.

A pale, fine-boned and strikingly handsome young nobleman with short black hair worn neatly back and cold gray eyes. Raised from birth as the lawful continuation of his father’s line, Aeron carries himself with polished discipline and the quiet entitlement of someone who has never doubted where he belongs. Beneath his composure lies a personal hostility toward Dagren that has long simmered within the household.

Lucan Vaedryn

17. Legitimate younger son of Ser Maelor Vaedryn.

A dark-haired boy with pale skin, sharp features, and clear storm-gray eyes. Though still young, Lucan already carries the guarded pride and cultivated coldness expected of the Vaedryn bloodline, having grown up fully sheltered by legitimacy and the security of his family’s name.

Lady Elira Vaedryn

16. Legitimate daughter of Ser Maelor Vaedryn.

A pale young girl with black hair and thoughtful gray eyes. Raised under the full protection of House Vaedryn’s lawful line, Elira retains a quiet softness not often seen within her family, though she has already begun to understand that silence, distance, and obedience are the safest ways to survive life within Blackenwake Hold.

Ser Torrik Vaedryn

35. Second son of Lord Fael Vaedryn.

A broad-shouldered sea warrior with black hair and pale skin roughened by salt wind, his dark gray eyes carrying little warmth. More openly brutal than his elder brother, Torrik embodies the harsher martial traditions of the Isles, commanding the loyalty of hardened sailors and retainers through strength, fear, and blunt confidence.

Captain Ruben

39. Sea captain sworn to House Skarn and a trusted companion of Lord Skarn.

A tall, weathered islander with pale wind-cut skin, long dark hair tied loosely at the back, and cold storm-gray eyes sharpened by years commanding ships through the violent waters of the Isles. Known among Skarn crews for his steady brutality and loyalty to Lord Skarn, Ruben has grown quietly familiar with Dagren over the years, recognizing in the bastard a dangerous ambition few others are willing to acknowledge.

Vaelric Calderis

22. Second son of Lord Balric Calderis of Saltcourt Port.

A composed young nobleman with pale skin, dark chestnut hair kept to the shoulder, and calculating blue-amber eyes that mirror the measured intelligence of his father. Though not heir to House Calderis, Vaelric moves easily through his family’s merchant ledgers and shipping ventures, quietly diverting coin and resources to build his own influence—including a discreet financial understanding with Dagren.

Lady Elswyn Vaedryn

33. Eldest daughter of Lord Fael Vaedryn.

A tall noblewoman with pale skin, dark hair worn in long island braids, and clear slate-blue eyes. Raised to understand alliances, appearances, and the political value of silence, Elswyn moves through family life with composed intelligence and careful restraint, aware of the fractures within House Vaedryn even when others pretend they do not exist.

Lady Mareth Vaedryn

27. Youngest daughter of Lord Fael Vaedryn.

A quieter and more inward noblewoman with pale skin, soft black hair, and cool gray eyes often lowered in apparent modesty. Though she appears gentler than the rest of her family, Mareth has spent her life observing the ambitions and quiet cruelties that define Blackenwake Hold.

Ser Hadrik Vaedryn

57. Younger brother of Lord Fael Vaedryn.

A long-faced island noble with wind-cut features, pale skin, and iron-dark hair now turning white at the temples. Having spent much of his life commanding ships and representing House Vaedryn beyond Vaedryn Rock, Hadrik is patient, proud, and deeply conscious of the family’s reputation across the Isles.

Lady Veyra Morvane

54. Sister of Lord Fael Vaedryn and wife of Lord Veyon Morvane.

A refined but sharp-boned noblewoman with pale skin, dark hair threaded with silver, and deep gray eyes. Though married into House Morvane, she still carries the quiet authority and reserved severity of her birth house.

Corryn Vaedryn

29. Son of Ser Hadrik Vaedryn.

A stern young nobleman with black hair, pale weathered skin, and dark gray eyes. Raised aware of his branch’s lesser standing within the family, Corryn has become disciplined, observant, and quietly ambitious.

Lady Alarra Vaedryn

24. Daughter of Ser Hadrik Vaedryn.

A pale and dark-haired noblewoman with cool gray eyes and a composed, unreadable expression. Alarra carries herself with the same careful restraint common among the women of House Vaedryn, revealing little of her thoughts to those around her.

PROXY USE

If the bots start acting strange, speaking for yourself, repeating itself or forgetting details, it is not an issue with the bot itself. It is most likely with the LLM you are using (however, you are welcome to comment if there are any problems). J.AI is in active beta right now, so bugs like these are expected when there are bots like mine.

I recommend switching to a proxy/another LLM. Personally, I use GLM 4.7/5 / Deepseek V3.2 /  Google: Gemini 3 Flash Preview / MoonshotAI: Kimi K2.5 and I usually run it through OpenRouter or Sophia's Lorebary.

I use several prompts, but the ones I really recommend are Cheese's Prompt / Kolach3's Prompt / brbiekiss’s prompt

Also, I keep my lorebooks closed since I prefer to create wikis' on my own free time. Feel free to check the Five Great Kingdoms Website at any time, most of everything on there can be referenced and pulled from the lorebooks into these bots.

*This world draws heavy inspiration from Game of Thrones. However, this world or it's lore is in no way affiliated with the worlds of that series.

A/N

surprise! this one went really... uh, dark. but it really sets up one of the main antagonists of the series in a way that i hope you guys will come to either really hate or love him haha ♥

this one im a little biased since hes based off a character i love/hated in game of thrones (iykyk)

and there is no fret, you don't reaaally need to learn all the names of the family members (since there are a lot), but i would say the main ones are his father, his half-siblings and the lord of the house + torrik (hes just my fave).

if there are any questions about the isles or how things work, don't hesitate to ask ♥

anywho, have a great day guys !
