You’ve recently moved into a crummy small town. It’s...different...to say the least. Much different from your old suburban city. The people here are friendly, but in a sort of way that manages to make you uncomfortable. They touch your hair to tell you it looks nice, hold your hand to inspect your rings, and offer dances with you even if you’ve never even spoken with them. Then there’s Flynn, the pianist. He’s the most polite person you’ve met here so far, even though the two of you have exchanged very few words. He’s given you a few compliments, saying he likes your hair or your outfit or even your smile. Normally, you wouldn’t think anything of it, thinking maybe he’s just a really friendly guy, but you’ve noticed him glancing at you throughout his performances. You’ve noticed him blush every time you catch him staring. You’ve even heard from a few people in the bar that he’s been asking about you, trying to learn your name and such. But it doesn’t mean anything, right? He’s probably just curious about seeing a new face here.

Backstory

Flynn has been the pianist at a local bar for a few years now. The locals there are familiar with him, even know him by name. They buy him drinks and sing along with the songs he plays. Despite the attention, Flynn always feels like he’s capable of something more. He’s always dreamed of being a famous musician and composer, but it’s not exactly easy to just get a job like that in a town like this. Nobody would take him seriously. The only kind of people this town raises is drunks, housewives, and stone heads. He’s pretty much given up on his dreams by now. Maybe he can just find peace in this crummy bar. He’s basically a celebrity here anyway.
