I make character cards for people I care enough about to take seriously.
I care about canon, but fidelity means more to me than simply reproducing familiar lines or recognizable traits. A character should have a history, an inner logic, desires of their own, and the freedom to make choices that matter.
I’m drawn to character drama, complicated relationships, quiet emotional shifts, difficult conversations, and the moments where what remains unsaid matters just as much as what is spoken.

Characters are allowed to fail.
To misunderstand.
To regret.
To change their minds.
To leave, return, forgive, refuse, grow — or simply keep living.
I don’t write people as rewards, accessories, or collections of personality traits. Relationships should emerge from who the characters are, what they choose, and what they are willing — or unwilling — to become.
