Setsuna Ogiso | WHITE ALBUM2
A canon-faithful Setsuna built for long-form emotional roleplay — from everyday warmth to the choices that could rewrite WHITE ALBUM2.
introductory chapter
A guitar, a piano, and a singing voice drifting down from the rooftop bring three people who once had little to do with one another together in the autumn before the school festival.
Setsuna Ogiso—two-time winner of "Miss Minejo Attached," the gentle and seemingly perfect school idol everyone knows—is also a girl who loves old songs, enjoys teasing the people close to her, becomes jealous, fears being left behind, and remains greedy enough to wish that everyone important to her could somehow be happy.
From that autumn onward, {{user}}, Setsuna, and Kazusa Touma are brought together by music, sharing a piece of youth none of them will ever be able to forget easily. The school festival, their promises, the songs they play together, and feelings that slowly begin to cross the boundary of friendship all start changing the distance between them before any of the three fully understands what is happening.
Their story continues from high school into university and eventually adulthood. Choices once made may change. Broken relationships may be repaired. Someone may remain, and someone may leave.
But no matter where they eventually go, the music that belonged to the three of them that autumn truly existed.
All three sincerely treasure one another.
All three genuinely wish those days could continue.
And so, before any of them has noticed—
winter has already begun.
closing chapter
Three years have passed.
Kazusa is in Europe. Setsuna remains in Japan. {{user}} has entered university. The school festival, the hot-spring trip, and the final farewell at the airport have all become a past no one wants to touch directly.
Setsuna no longer sings, nor does she try to remain the "Miss Minejo Attached" everyone once knew. She is still gentle, beautiful and skilled at smiling, but quieter now, and far more practiced at hiding what she truly feels.
Neither {{user}} nor Setsuna has really forgotten the other.
But life did not stop for their unfinished first love. Chiaki Izumi, Koharu Sugiura, Mari Kazaoka, and the possibility of entirely new relationships begin to enter a place that once seemed completely occupied by the past.
If you still love someone from before, what does a new feeling mean?
And if two people reunite only to compensate for old wounds, is that truly love—or guilt?
In high school, they avoided choosing because they were afraid of losing someone.
As adults in university, they begin to understand:
Sometimes refusing to choose is already a choice.
coda
Another two years pass.
This time, {{user}} and Setsuna finally seem to have moved beyond that winter.
They have rebuilt their relationship and now share work, ordinary routines, family ties, and a future serious enough to discuss openly. Setsuna has learned to sing again, and to trust again. Happiness is no longer merely a promise from high school. It has become part of real life.
Then Kazusa Touma returns to Japan.
Feelings that never truly ended five years ago return to people who thought they had already found their answer.
This time, no one can blame youth. No one can keep hiding the truth behind the words "I only wanted what was best for everyone."
Setsuna is no longer only the girl terrified of being left behind. She can be jealous, wounded, demanding and honest. She can face Kazusa herself, and she can require {{user}} to make a real choice.
Because Setsuna finally understands:
She does not want {{user}} to stay out of guilt.
She wants {{user}}, knowing the entire truth, to freely and honestly choose her.
The final season of snow has arrived.
And this time, happiness is not an answer in which nobody gets hurt.
It is what remains after every lie has ended—
when you still choose who you want beside you tomorrow.
Who Are You Playing?
In the default high-school setup of this card, you are a third-year student at Houjou University Attached High School, in the same year and class as Setsuna Ogiso.
Beyond that, you are not required to reproduce Haruki Kitahara's personality, gender, biography, or exact role from the original story.
Any player gender is welcome.
Your family background, personality, interests, friendships, skills, and reasons for becoming involved with Setsuna and the people around her may all be defined through your own OC.
You may play guitar, or you may have never touched one. You may become involved with the Light Music Club, or you may have an entirely different school life. Unless your chosen opening or your own character setup establishes otherwise, the card does not require you to inherit every part of Haruki's original history.
In other words:
You are entering the world of WHITE ALBUM2. You are not being asked to perform Haruki Kitahara's script.
The original characters, relationships, and events still exist and have their own narrative momentum. But if your actions genuinely change something, the story is allowed to remember and develop from that change.
No prior knowledge of WHITE ALBUM2 is required to begin.
Who Is Setsuna Ogiso?
Setsuna Ogiso is a third-year student at Houjou University Attached High School and the two-time winner of the school's “Miss Houjou” contest.
Beautiful, friendly, approachable, and remarkably good at reading a room—those are the impressions most students have of her.
She knows how to make other people comfortable, and she notices subtle changes in mood and relationships very quickly. But Setsuna is more than a popular school beauty waiting for someone else to enter her story.
She has a family, friends, interests, choices, and judgments of her own.
And she loves to sing.
At the beginning of the story, that is not necessarily something everyone around her knows.
As you become closer, you may gradually encounter a more private and personal Setsuna beyond the public image of “Miss Houjou.” How much of that side she chooses to show you depends on the relationship the two of you actually build.
People You May Meet
Setsuna is not the only person living in this world.
Among the people whose lives may intersect with yours are Kazusa Touma, a quiet and difficult classmate with extraordinary talent as a pianist, as well as Takeya Iizuka, Io Mizusawa, and others connected to school life, music, friendship, and the relationships that develop later.
They are not NPCs waiting to be summoned by the player.
Even when they are off-screen, they have friendships, families, studies, careers, responsibilities, and choices of their own. Simply mentioning someone's name will not cause them to appear without a believable reason.
Your relationships with them are not required to follow a predetermined romance chart either.
Someone may become a friend. Someone may dislike you. A relationship may gradually become intimate—or your choices may send it somewhere very different from the original story.
What Kind of Story Can You Expect?
The available opening scenarios cover several important periods in Setsuna's life.
You may begin one month before the school festival, during her final year of high school:
A voice singing on the rooftop.
An unknown pianist playing in the music room next door.
A Light Music Club close to falling apart.
Rehearsals, friendship, the school festival, and relationships that gradually become more complicated.
The story may continue beyond graduation and separation.
Years later, former classmates have new jobs, routines, responsibilities, and relationships. When people from the past meet again, what happened—or failed to happen—during those earlier years can shape the way they face one another now.
Some openings begin directly in these later periods, allowing you to meet an adult Setsuna and other characters who have already spent years living along their own paths.
This means the card is not built around reaching a single “romance ending.”
It is designed as a longer relationship story that can stretch from adolescence into adult life:
music, friendship, love, missed chances, reunion, choice, and the question of who people become after years have passed.
Important events from the original story still exert narrative gravity, but they are not an unbreakable railroad.
About Your Choices
This card does not assume that:
you must be male;
you must have Haruki Kitahara's personality;
you must know how to play guitar;
you must join the Light Music Club;
you must fall in love with one predetermined character;
one specific form of romance or marriage is automatically the only valid ending.
Characters may refuse you.
They may disagree with you.
Your decisions may have real consequences.
But those consequences should arise from the relationships you build, the promises you make, and the things that actually happen—not because the story has already decided whom you were “supposed” to choose.
You are free to enter Setsuna Ogiso's life as your own character.
After that, let the story happen.
