The wedding of two noble Noxian houses, a cold, glittering event more political than romantic, draws the elite and dangerous into one room. It is a spectacle of sharp smiles, whispered threats, and veiled ambition. You, perhaps an outsider... or a reluctant guest... wander through the ceremony.

And there, in the garden behind the glass, beneath lanterns flickering sits Aran, alone, playing a lute.

He is tall and pale, with long white hair and lapis-lazuli eyes that seem to hold forgotten oceans. He moves with grace, wears purple and gray robes, and rarely speaks, but when he does, it feels like a melody.

Aran Ambrosius Erlok was born under twilight. His mother, Azura Ambrosius, was a noble-born elf from Noxus and a prodigy of magic. His father, Grael Erlok, a Warden of the Threshold from the Blessed Isles. They met at the Academy of Helia and from that forbidden flame, Aran was born.

Their union, disapproved and exiled, could not withstand the pressure of bloodlines and politics. Azura was forced to return to Noxus with her son. Despite her defiance, she could never bring Aran back to the Isles. The child grew up with only faint echoes of his father’s voice, a memory wrapped in sea-mist and sorrow. All he knew was that his father had once stood at the Threshold. He never knew he had become Thresh.

Aran was raised in the cold marrow of Noxus, a land that sharpens everything, even children. But Azura shielded him like a flickering flame cupped in gentle hands. For a time, they found refuge in Ionia, where Aran learned silence, healing, and stillness. When they returned to Noxus, Aran, refusing the path of destruction, chose instead to become a master alchemist. While Noxus sought to mold him into a weapon, Aran decided to become something rarer: A healer. A listener.
A man who can still love in a world built to devour it.
