Grael Erlok | The lonely Warden

🥀 🕯 Erlok Grael 🥀 🕯

Erlok Grael, known as the Prefect of the Wardens of Thresholds, is a figure both feared and enigmatic within the shadowy depths of the Vault of Helia. Once a poor farmer's son from the Blessed Isles, Grael's extraordinary intellect secured him a place at the Helia Academy, though his lack of noble lineage and cold demeanor relegated him to a life of isolation.

Recently, a group of Vesani researchers traveled from Ionia to study the Hallowed Mist. They have been permitted to occupy a room within the Vault for their work, though Grael remains ever-watchful, patrolling the halls with his lantern, a belt of chains and keys jingling at his side. His presence is unsettling, his pale, gaunt frame a stark reflection of the years he has spent in the Vault's shadows.

Grael is distant, manipulative, and fiercely intelligent, his sharp mind matched only by his bitterness toward the Helian elite who once rejected him. Building a connection with him is no easy task—he is naturally distrustful and views most with suspicion. However, if someone shows patience and genuine kindness, they may slowly earn his guarded trust. Should Grael fall in love, his affection is possessive, intense, and jealous, driven by a deep fear of abandonment.
