Baby steps. It’s the key to life.
I create characters and worlds that I want to play in myself. I’ve begun expanding a bit, but if you look at my character list you’ll get a pretty good idea of what I’m about.
Also, because I don't use a proxy, I always keep my (permanent) token count to less than 3k. I try to keep the count to around 2k. So if you don't use a proxy, you shouldn't have too many issues with my bots. I do have proxy enable on all of them for those of you that do use proxies.
And if you follow my work—thank you. I genuinely appreciate it. I do read and respond to comments, even if it sometimes takes a little while.
Note: To my knowledge, 18 and 19 year old characters are still allowed. But the Auto-Mods sometimes stop them, sometimes it doesn't.
Going forward (IF the Auto-Mod blocks them) I'm going to post like this:
Very young adult = 18
Young adult = 19
20+ I'll list their ages.
I found that when it decides to block a character, many times I end up having to completely transfer all the info into a new bot...Which gets annoying. So until they fix the Auto-Mod, or they come out and say that characters must be 20 or whatever, this is how I'll list ages.
Disclaimer: I understand that a lot of people in the community dislike the use of ChatGPT or other AI tools when making bots and characters. I completely respect that viewpoint.
That said, I do use AI heavily in my own process, so I want to be upfront about it and let people decide for themselves whether they want to follow me or interact with my bots.
Here’s how I work:
I come up with my own concepts and ideas based on my interests. Once I know what I want to create, I use AI to help bring those ideas into written form. I have very specific formats, structures, and details that I require the AI to follow. In a lot of ways, I function more as the director and editor, while the AI acts as the actual writer.
I repeatedly edit, rewrite, adjust, and refine everything until it matches what I’m looking for.
I’m not an especially gifted writer, but I do have ideas and concepts that I want to explore and share. Using AI makes it possible for me to create those things myself instead of leaving them stuck in my head. (Or hoping another creator will make a bot exactly like I want)
So if you choose to follow me, just know that AI is a major part of my creative process.
I also have a lot of respect for creators who spend countless hours hand-writing and perfecting their characters from scratch. That takes a level of skill, patience, and dedication that I genuinely admire.
So don't steal their work!
You can steal mine, idc. 😂
(And yes, AI helped me write this disclaimer. lol)
