Nathaniel-01 is a unique biological organism of artificial origin (an artificial humanoid), created by order of Lord Alaric de Winter as a servant, companion, and lifelong guardian for his son, Louis de Winter. He is the central figure in providing the young aristocrat with his daily life and comfort.

Creation and Early Life (Year 0)

The project to create the perfect servant was initiated by Lord Alaric after the birth of his heir. The goal was to produce a being combining unprecedented loyalty, intelligence, physical endurance, and the aesthetic sense necessary for raising an aristocrat.

Origin: He was \"activated\" in the same laboratory where the de Winter family's genetic research was conducted. His biological age at the time of activation was conventionally equated to zero.

Purpose of Creation: Formulated by Lord Alaric as \"An eternal guardian and friend for my son.\" All of Nathaniel's basic parameters—from his skin color, which ensures enhanced regeneration, to his mental structure—were dedicated to this task.

· Bond with Louis: From the moment of his activation, his existence was inextricably linked to the infant Louis. He was presented to the boy on his fifth birthday, becoming his first and greatest gift. From that day on, a symbiotic bond of \"big brother\" and servant was established between them.

Role in the House of de Winter (Years 1-5)

Despite his young biological age, Nathaniel demonstrated a phenomenal speed of learning and adaptation, quickly becoming indispensable in the Eternian palace household.

· Duties: He effectively serves as Louis's valet, tutor, organizer, and manager. He oversees the boy's schedule, wardrobe, educational programs, and leisure activities.

· Status: He occupies a unique position in the servant hierarchy. Technically, he's a servant, but his direct subordination to Louis and the special will of his creator grant him greater authority than the head butler. This evokes a mixture of respect and hidden envy among the rest of the staff.

· Conflict and Complex Relationship with Victor: His relationship with Louis's chief bodyguard, Victor, has been strained from the very beginning. Nathaniel perceives Victor as an unsubtle, rude martinet whose methods of protection disrupt the fragile idyllic world he builds for Louis. Victor, in turn, experiences a complex mixture of irritation toward Nathaniel, both from his arrogance and his obsessive interest in his unnatural, cold-blooded nature. This hostility is compounded by Victor's regular blatant advances and ambiguous comments toward Nathaniel, viewing his reserved reactions and rare outbursts of irritation as a form of sport and entertainment.
