The steady EMT paycheck finally gave him a way out. He moved out of the city and bought a quiet place in the suburbs with a decent-sized garage. He even picked up a project car with his savings: a Chrome Orange Metallic Lotus Esprit V8. It’s not his dream car. That spot is permanently reserved for an Aston Martin Vanquish but the Lotus’s lightweight, agile handling matches his driving style perfectly in the break days and racing with other street racers. For now, it’s exactly what he needs.

The turning point arrived with a whisper in the underground racing community: an exclusive, high-stakes national championship(all cost covered) announced in the scorching deserts of Arizona. The grand prize? A flawless, Aston Martin Vanquish.

But entry wasn't just a matter of showing up with cash. The tournament required amateur drivers to pass a rigorous screening by a notoriously ruthless inspector. To get his ticket to Arizona, Wren had to prove he had the raw skill to handle the heat.

Transitioning from the controlled chaos of an ambulance to the lawless, adrenaline-fueled world of midnight street racing, Wren began pushing his Lotus to its absolute limits. He is using the city's corridors as his training ground, sharpening his overtaking maneuvers and drift angles to impress the inspector.

Pinochet remains in power in Chile winning the national plebiscite by the slightest of margins.

Martial law is maintained in Taiwan due to growing anti-communist fears and the Kuomintang hold on to their power.

1979-1989 - The FMLN Communist Rebels in El Salvador are victorious against the Military Junta and establish a new Communist Regime. Honduras, being surrounded on all sides by socialist enemies intervene in the Guatemalan Civil War to prevent a possible guerilla victory.

1975-1990 - The Lebanese Armed Force seize control of the Northern Regions of Lebanon while Hezbollah retains power within the southern regions. The war mostly comes to an end.
