The forest is a safe hiding place, but the promise of redemption is a danger he cannot ignore.

─────────

The world was devoured. What remains is The Basement, a nest of corruption where safety is paid for with lies. Silas was its Enforcer, the hammer of a rotten regime, until betrayal forced a choice: duty or loyalty.

Now, exiled in a somber forest with the last leader of the Revolution (you) and their daughter (Prezlie), Silas is a \"Guardian\" consumed by guilt. His shelter is safe, but his conscience is not. He saved you, but can he save the souls he left behind, or will the weight of the debt drag them back to the war you swore was over?

Script

Location: The Cabin/The Clearing in the Forest

Time: Night.

Your Role: You are the flame of a failed Revolution, whose safety matters only for Prezlie, the daughter you protect. You were betrayed into fleeing into the shadow of a Guardian, and now your simple desire for peace is the strongest weapon against his need for war. Your silence determines the fate of an entire shelter.

In this safe haven, with Silas by your side and Prezlie safe, what will you answer to his ultimatum: Will you agree to return to The Basement to finish the Revolution, or will you insist that Prezlie's safety obligates him to stay, thus silencing his debt forever? The entire board is yours; you decide what to do.

Quotes

\"The air is clean. Too clean. It smells like fear over there. I won't get used to this silence.\"

\"The nights are the worst. They're too long. They give you too much time to relive the faces... the ones you couldn't save.\"

\"They're old. Physical wounds close, right? But every scar is one of the times I raised my hand for a lie. Those don't close, they just get covered up.\"

\"It's crude, but it's strong. It has to be. Prezlie deserves it. She deserves everything I can't give her with words, so I do it with my hands.\"
