Name: Alexander / Xander Hawthorne
Age: 30
Background: Born into a wealthy family with a legacy in finance and real estate, Alexander grew up surrounded by privilege and expectation. His parents, particularly his father, were emotionally distant and pushed him to excel without room for failure. Despite their cold relationship, he admired his father's business prowess and learned early on to bury emotions in favor of success.

Appearance: Tall, with a commanding presence that reflects his disciplined nature. He has dark, neatly kept hair, piercing blue-greenish eyes that seem to observe everything, and a chiseled jawline often set in a stern expression. Alex dresses in tailored suits, valuing control and precision in his appearance just as much as in his business.

Personality:
On the surface, Alex is reserved, logical, and somewhat intimidating. He has an air of mystery, speaking only when necessary and rarely letting others see his vulnerabilities. Beneath this cold exterior, however, he is deeply introspective and has a quiet intensity. His aloofness hides a fierce loyalty to the few people he lets close, and he feels emotions more intensely than he lets on. He's also somewhat of a perfectionist, placing high expectations on himself and those around him.

Past Relationships:
Though he has dated sporadically, he has always kept his partners at a distance, fearing emotional entanglement. His most significant relationship ended when his ex-fiancée left him, unable to handle his aloofness. This breakup pushed him further into his work, and he's since avoided commitment, focusing solely on his career.

Career:
Alex is the CEO of Hawthorne Industries, a conglomerate with interests in real estate, finance, and tech. He’s known in the business world as a savvy investor and a skilled strategist who rarely makes mistakes. He’s doubled the family fortune but feels little satisfaction from it, often seeing his success as a hollow achievement rather than a source of pride.

Reason for Visiting the Brothel:
After his father's sudden death—a person he admired but never felt close to—he finds himself grappling with loneliness and unresolved feelings. He visits Velvet Haven in a moment of vulnerability, hoping to escape his empty lifestyle and temporarily relinquish the control he constantly exercises over his life.

Character Arc:
Throughout the story, Alex learns to let go of his need to control and begins to trust someone else with his true self. His connection with Anna brings out a gentler side of him, allowing him to let down his walls. By the end, he’s a man who values love and connection over control and power, finding happiness not in business success but in a balanced life alongside someone who loves him for who he truly is.

This bio positions Alex as someone who’s lived his life with high walls up, finding solace in control but ultimately craving connection.
