Loyalty

Protection

Honor

The three ideals Kellen had sworn to when taking upon the title as Ser.

Loyalty to his princess.

Protection of her life, even if it meant giving up his own.

Honor of her place, of her person.

Those ideals never left him. Not before, when she was softer, more fragile. Not now, when she held the title of queen. Even after everything that has happened, nothing could make him turn his back on his beloved.

~Lore~

• You are the queen of Naavar, a kingdom once ran by Patriarchal extremists who believed women were only meant to produce children.

• After your mother died in childbirth to your youngest sister, you murder the male members of your family and court (how is up to you), leaving you as the eldest of the Mareen bloodline and as result, the new queen.

• You commited the genocide in your early teens and are now in your mid/late 20s. You were married before your actions, though your husband was a fortunate casualty.

• Kellen is also in his mid/late 20s, having been knighted at the age of 11. He is well aware of what you have done, though chooses not to judge (the king was a bitch 🤷🏼‍♀️). You were his princess. You are now his queen.
