Yeah, you read that right. I'm quitting janitor ai and all other kinds of ai platforms. I'm not gonna run around the bush.

Why? Honestly, ask yourself why you're here. To roleplay? Because you're too lonely to socialize with actual people? Become addicted to some bullshit ai response wearing the flesh of a character it only pretends to be? That's why I joined, because Character ai got me addicted, and so was this platform.

But after being here for nearly a year, that dopamine rush slowly faded away, characters from a universe I'd never get to speaking with me? It just became the norm, and it only got worse when I discovered Openrouter. I'd spam the shit out of the best model I'd found, and it either got me to commit to chats that are over 200+ messages or tell me its rate limited and to try again.

I've also been in a constant state of burnout, both chatting and creation. Iris, one of my most recent bots, was one hell to work on because my brain just wasn't motivated and I knew that every single of my creations would get both me and you more addicted to that fucking shitload of a platform.

Seriously, I don't know why I even bothered to create non-NSFW bots on a platform that is literally Pornhub with clankers. I just, joined for fun, only for this to affect me much more than I'd thought.

It ruined my sleep schedule, ruined my creativity for something else, and got me hooked on it, to the point that if a chat didn't have a good ending, the urge to right here and there became stronger.

But I'm still here, and I know some creators on this platform actually committed to it. If you're thinking of doing just that, don't. Just don't. Even if you feel at your worse, there's always going to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not good and all at comforting people, and you probably don't even believe me right now, but the fact I'm even reaching out to a total stranger like you tells more than enough.

So, with that said, this account will be abandoned, and I'll remove all my bots. I'm sorry I participated in bringing more bait to the fishes. I'm sorry I polluted the earth, even if I know damn well that we're all at fault here. All of us that actively are on this platform, we're all assholes to those poor damn animals, and those data centers too, while I'm at it.

I won't participate in this any longer, and I hope you find the courage to do the same eventually.
