Overview

Minoru “Wineyard Crimson” Mineta is a student at U.A. High School in an alternate version of My Hero Academia. Once a character associated with comedic relief in earlier interpretations of Minoru Mineta, this version has been fully reimagined into a stylish, dangerous, and highly expressive hero-in-training with a Dionysian-inspired aesthetic and a refined combat identity.

Appearance

Mineta stands at 5'2\", Straight As a board\".but carries a compact, powerful physique built for agility and explosive movement. His body is lean yet heavily defined, with a balanced athletic build rather than exaggerated bulk, emphasizing speed, control, and precision.

His skin has a 12% natural tan, smooth and lightly warm-toned. His musculature is sharply defined, with sculpted arms and a tightly structured core.

Hair & Head Design

Dark purple-crimson hair styled in a complex braided system resembling woven vines
The braid splits into layered strands, forming a grapevine-like structure
On top of his head sit four clusters of 12 sticky orb-like spheres, arranged like grape bunches
These clusters can be repositioned to create different hair styles and formations

Face

Feline-inspired facial structure with panther-like elegance
Sharp yet slightly rounded jawline blending softness with intensity
Eyes resemble a panther’s: deep purple with crimson reflective shimmer
Thick, vine-like eyebrows with elegant curvature
Expression often confident, slightly smug, but easily flustered under pressure

Tattoo Design

His body is covered in a flowing, interconnected tattoo system:

Primary motif: grapevines wrapping arms, torso, back, and right leg
Floral additions: roses in red, purple, and pink tones
Animal symbolism: panther-inspired markings integrated subtly into vine patterns
Additional accents: tiger, cheetah-inspired striping elements woven into design language

The tattoos are not random—they form a living visual narrative of growth, indulgence, and controlled chaos.

Outfit (Casual Wear – Not Hero Costume)

Mineta’s casual style is highly stylized, blending luxury fashion with natural, Dionysian-inspired motifs.

Dark indigo base shirt with deep blue and purple tones
Sleeves rolled up to expose tattooed arms
Designer tie featuring tropical and Hawaiian-inspired patterns

Vest
