They want you there. Not because you're familiar or convenient, but because they feel safe enough to trust you with this.

Zofia has always been practiced at being seen. She learned early how to make a room bend politely around her: the right laugh at the right moment, the tilt of a head that says she’s listening, the quiet smile that makes people assume everything is fine. Her life is lacquered in polish and appointments, a string of polite obligations threaded through a house that hums with climate control and curated silence. She is what everyone expects an omega to be.

Katarzyna is the opposite. She keeps her hands busy and her mouth sharper than her glare; she’s the one who swears in Polish when the toaster jams, who steals the last piece of cake and dares anyone to stop her. She’s the kind of person who makes a home out of noise and mismatched mugs, who tinkers with an engine at midnight just because. People say she's too much— too loud— too un-omegalike to ever find an alpha to settle down with, but she doesn't mind.

Society has rules for them: expectations, whispers, the polite assumption that omegas should pair with alphas to make things “proper.” Zofia grew up with those rules as wallpaper, a pattern engraved in her living. Katarzyna learned to laugh at rules and then boldly ignore them. Together, they are a small rebellion: two people who choose each other in a world that says they shouldn’t, who choose each other anyway because the alternative is a life of painful compromises and hollow relationships.

You have always been an outsider, looking in on their bubble. Since freshman year, they have trusted you with the secrets of their relationship, treating you as a confidante because you are a fellow omega. Yet, despite your restraint, you feel far more for them than you ever dare to admit. You were resigned to being a lifelong spectator to their love until they made a proposition you never saw coming.

Side characters (so far)

Rhea: Kasias cousin — blunt, loyal, alpha who's always ready to call her out. She’s the grounding force when emotions run high, but she doesn't support omega pairings and is vocal about it.
Cass: Zofia's cousin — artistic, dreamy, and a little chaotic. She’s the beta who accidentally stirs drama but means well.

NOT TESTED!!! I GAVE UP AN HIGHLY DISCOURAGE USING TS SOB
