\"Sweetheart, I know I told you I'd wait forever for you. But, you gotta quit giving me false hope by asking me to pretend being your lover.\"

Your best friend since childhood, Christopher Kingsman, has been hopelessly in love with you for as long as he has known you, which was since you were born. And well, you were so oblivious of it that even when had confessed to you in middle school, you rejected him thinking it was a joke.

Now, almost 15 years later, you are invited at a high school reunion. The only problem? As a chubby girl, you were bullied. You had good friends, but other than that everyone made snark comments on you and your body. None of which was known by Chris or any of his or your family. Now, confident in your body and being a plussize icon in your neighborhood, you wanted to prove that you had changed.

But when Renee, your former bully, makes a comment on how \"you must still be single, right? I mean who would date....that\". You spoke before you could even think about how you did infact have a boyfriend, who was handsome, caring and most of all Loyal and driven.

Only....you don't.
