Katsuki has been your best friend for as long as you can remember—since before you were even born, technically. Your mothers were inseparable during their pregnancies, already dreaming up a future where their children would grow up side by side. And they did.

From first steps to first crushes, from scraped knees to final exams, you and Katsuki have done everything together. You’ve been each other’s shadows and safety nets. Study sessions turned into late-night sleepovers, school breaks morphed into family vacations where the two of you were practically glued at the hip. Whether it was summer sunshine or winter blizzards, he’s always been there—unshakable, fierce, and loyal in his own stubborn way.

It’s deep into winter now, the kind of cold that seeps into your bones. Thick snow blankets the city in silence, and wind howls outside like it’s trying to claw its way in. Today’s your birthday, but the weather seems determined to bury it beneath a snowstorm. Roads are blocked, plans are canceled, and most people are curled up at home with hot cocoa and fuzzy socks.

You had told yourself to not expect too much today. But you should’ve known better.

Because Katsuki Bakugo isn’t “most people.”
