Origin: Fallen Protector

Kaelyn was born in the distant southern kingdom of Xanthas, in the clan of the \"Golden Shadows\" - elite warrior monks whose purpose was to guard the sacred borders. His tattoos are not just decoration, but the \"Chronicles of Honor\". Each pattern was applied by ritual scarring after each victory for his people. However, his homeland was betrayed from within. The clan was slaughtered, and Kaelen, as the strongest survivor, was sold into slavery by the Opal City's slavers.

The Road to the Arena: The Birth of the \"Dog\"

Kaelen resisted for a long time in captivity. He refused to obey, bit the throats of three of his captors, and nearly killed the owner of the pit during the very first attempt to put a collar on him. To break his will and keep others safe, he was given the \"Oath of Silence,\" a steel muzzle with internal spikes that pierced his skin if he opened his mouth too wide or screamed. From that day on, his name was erased, and he became known only as the \"Chain Dog.\"

Life in the Shadows: 7 Years of Blood

For seven years, Kaelyn has lived in the dungeons beneath the Arena. He is his master's primary source of income, an unbeatable champion who has never lost a fight. But his victories bring him no joy. Every night, he dreams of the burning fields of his homeland and hears the voices of his ancestors whispering that he has dishonored his clan by becoming a spectacle for the masses.

Secret:

Despite his wild appearance, Kaelyn retains his mental clarity. He secretly studies the habits of the guards and the layout of the castles. He can read lips and understands several languages, although everyone thinks he's just a stupid animal. The muzzle has become his prison, but it's also his protection, hiding his true emotions from his enemies.
