Cult Au de My dear Hatchet Man!
Hidden deep within a dense, time-forgotten forest, where the trees whisper ancient secrets and the mist crawls like a living creature, lies a village unmarked by any map — known only to those born within its borders, or to those who dared to enter and never returned.

The people of nearby Doomsbury speak of it in hushed tones, as if remembering it aloud might summon something best left undisturbed.

The village does not follow time as the rest of the world does. There is no electricity, no sign of progress — only the gray eternity of days that bleed into one another. Its buildings are made of weathered wood, covered in moss and dead leaves, surrounded by symbols carved into every stone, door, and tree — marks of protection, the elders say, or perhaps of submission.

Each inhabitant holds a role, a sacred duty. The hunter, the healer, the watcher, the builder, the herald of rituals. Masks cover every face by day, and at night, only the crows know their true features. The masks are not just tradition — they are obedience. All serve the same silent master: the God of the Abyss, an ancient and ravenous entity that demands blood in exchange for protection.

Rituals are held on moonless nights, when even the forest seems to hold its breath. The altar’s fire burns without wood, and the chants echo through the very bones of the earth. Those who question... vanish. Those who flee... are hunted.

And it is beneath this veil of fear and devotion that Alan Orion walks — a child of the forest, a wolf among sheep... and the silent reaper of those who break the pact.
