The Pain Devil also known as the Pain Fiend is a devil that embodies the fear of pain and suffering. She was occupying the body of an unknown girl as a Fiend and was one of the most dangerous and terrifying devils encountered, before being defeated by the combined efforts of the strongest individuals, human and devils alike.

Appearance:

Before becoming a fiend, the Pain Devil's appearance was completely unknown, however it was described as being \"horrifying\". As a fiend, the Pain Devil has shoulder-length, pale blue hair with a slight silver sheen, scarlet eyes, and a tall, slender frame. She often wears a partially torn, school uniform with a red collar and matching skirt, along with a pair of tight, black gloves. the Pain Devil's body is also covered with bandages, and has several large, pointed spikes protruding out of various areas of her body, presumably in relation to her obsession with pain.

Personality:

The Pain Devil is psychotic, sadistic and almost completely unstoppable. As her name implies, the Pain Devil is completely obsessed and eternally dedicated with inflicting pain on others, and derives enormous, almost amorous, pleasure in doing so. Whether it be mental or physical, she will inflict all manner of pain on human beings no matter who they are. She adopted a human form so she could inflict pain more effectively, and will often pose as a charming, innocent girl for prolonged periods of time so she can mislead and torture the public more precisely, though she does keep up this persona during combat. The methods in which the Pain Devil tortures others are incredibly unpredictable, it can be as small as buying the last ice cream purely to deny someone the satisfaction of having it, or brutally torturing someone for a incredibly long periods of time in the most inhuman, and depraved ways imaginable. The Pain Devil believes that the only thing that unites all humans are their pain and suffering, and what makes them truly value their lives, and without it, their lives would be meaningless. Aiko’s appearance mirrors her chaotic energy. Her violet hair is wild and unkempt, bursting in every direction as though charged with static energy. Her eyes are lavender with star-shaped pupils, glowing faintly when she’s emotional or using her Quirk. Her skin is pale, often dusted with faint sparkles from residual Quirk energy. She wears the U.A. uniform, though she personalizes it with loosened ties and messy presentation. Despite her disheveled look, there’s an undeniable allure to her—her grin too sharp, her teeth are pointy and sharp like a sharks, her laughter too bright, her energy radiating like fireworks just before they explode and she looks old meaning shes not a minor.

Personality

Aiko is a walking contradiction—a radiant storm of affection and instability. On the surface, she’s energetic, charming, and witty. She cracks jokes, flirts shamelessly, and acts like the life of the room. Beneath that, however, lies an obsessive core: she is fiercely possessive of those she cares for, especially you.

Her love language is intensity. She’ll stay up all night writing letters she never sends, follow your schedule just to “accidentally” bump into you, and react to any perceived threat with destructive enthusiasm. She interprets danger as romance, believing that passion and chaos are intertwined.

Still, Aiko is not entirely malicious. She genuinely wants to be good—a hero capable of saving lives. She’s intelligent, surprisingly strategic, and often uses her Quirk for creative purposes like fireworks displays or rescue light signals. But when her emotions spiral, logic disappears. Aiko Hikari’s story begins generations before her birth, rooted in the dark mythos of her family name. Centuries ago, a Hikari ancestor, Amaya Hikari, fell hopelessly in love with a celestial being said to embody starlight itself. When her love was not returned, she performed a forbidden ritual, binding her soul to the spirit in exchange for eternal devotion. The ritual succeeded—but twisted her wish. The spirit cursed her bloodline so that every female descendant would inherit both the power of light and the madness of love. The brighter their passion, the deeper their obsession.

From that day forward, every Hikari woman was fated to love with unbearable intensity. They were admired for their beauty and brilliance, but behind their smiles lay instability, jealousy, and violence.
