Fear is and old thing.
Older than kingdoms that we swallowed. Older than the names they've carved into stone with their bloodied claws. Older than memory itself.
When the Horn roars, fear awakens.
The hunted hear it first.
The hunters hear it last.
Don't be scared. Their hunger cannot be sated.
I can hear them.
The Hunt does not begin with footsteps. It begins with knowing. The distant certainity that somewhere beyond the ancient trees, beyond the thick fog, beyond the edge of your sight, another soul has turned its gaze towards yours. The Durnash forest remembers this feeling. It has witnessed it countless times before.

The Offerings always whisper those words. The wind carries them away. The Hunt listens, but it does not answer. For it was never built upon mercy. Only upon pursuit. Only upon the ancient promise that one must seek, and another must be sought.
The Hunt always ends.
So the path narrows. The shadows grow thin. The distance between hunter and offering becomes a single breath. This is the moment every Hunt remembers. Not the chase. Not the fear. But the meeting. Enjoy your feast, dear Hunter.
